Catalytic asymmetric dearomatization (CADA) reactions of phenol and aniline derivatives
TL;DR: In this tutorial review, an up to date summary of recent progress in CADA reactions of phenol and aniline derivatives is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Organic Triplet Sensitizer Library Derived from a Single Chromophore (BODIPY) with Long-Lived Triplet Excited State for Triplet–Triplet Annihilation Based Upconversion
TL;DR: A library of organic triplet sensitizers based on a single chromophore of boron-dipyrromethene (BODIPY) is proposed, paving the way for the design and applications in photovoltaics and upconversions, etc.
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly efficient photothermal nanoagent achieved by harvesting energy via excited-state intramolecular motion within nanoparticles
Zheng Zhao,Chao Chen,Wenting Wu,Fenfen Wang,Lili Du,Lili Du,Xiaoyan Zhang,Yu Xiong,Xuewen He,Yuanjing Cai,Ryan T. K. Kwok,Jacky Wing Yip Lam,Xike Gao,Pingchuan Sun,David Lee Phillips,Dan Ding,Ben Zhong Tang +16 more
TL;DR: A class of near infrared- absorbing organic molecules with intramolecular motion-induced photothermy inside nanoparticles, which enables most absorbed light energy to dissipate as heat, makes the nanoparticles a superior photoacoustic imaging agent compared to widely used methylene blue and semiconducting polymer nanoparticles and allow them for high-contrast photoac acoustic imaging of tumours in live mice.
Journal ArticleDOI
A highly selective red-emitting FRET fluorescent molecular probe derived from BODIPY for the detection of cysteine and homocysteine: an experimental and theoretical study
Jingyin Shao,Haiyang Sun,Huimin Guo,Shaomin Ji,Jianzhang Zhao,Wenting Wu,Xiaolin Yuan,Chunlei Zhang,Tony D. James +8 more
TL;DR: A red-emitting BODIPY-based fluorescent-resonance-energy-transfer (FRET) molecular probe 1 for selective detection of cysteine and homocysteine was designed and used for in vivo fluorescent imaging of cellular thiols.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cu-N dopants boost electron transfer and photooxidation reactions of carbon dots.
Wenting Wu,Wenting Wu,Liying Zhan,Weiyu Fan,Jizhong Song,Xiaoming Li,Zhongtao Li,Ruiqin Wang,Jinqiang Zhang,Jingtang Zheng,Mingbo Wu,Haibo Zeng +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation of Cu-N-doped CDs (Cu-CDs) was investigated and both the doping-promoted electron transfer and the performance of the CDs in photooxidation reactions were investigated.
