Journal ArticleDOI

Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy Versus Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

TL;DR: Standard PCNL offers stone-free rates superior to those of RIRs, whereas RIRS provides higher stone free rates than MIPPs, and should be considered standard therapy for stones <2 cm until appropriate randomised studies are performed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Perioperative outcomes of robotic and laparoscopic simple prostatectomy: A european-American multi-institutional analysis

TL;DR: Analysis of a large data set from multiple institutions shows that surgical removal of symptomatic large prostatic adenomas can be carried out with good outcomes by using robot-assisted laparoscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Video endoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy: a new minimally invasive procedure for radical management of inguinal nodes in patients with penile squamous cell carcinoma.

TL;DR: Preliminary results suggest that video endoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy may decrease postoperative morbidity without compromising oncological control in patients with penile carcinoma and nonpalpable nodes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Can video endoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy achieve a lower morbidity than open lymph node dissection in penile cancer patients

TL;DR: This preliminary series suggests that VEIL can reduce morbidity, including hospitalization times, compared with standard open surgery, and is a promising minimally invasive approach for radical inguinal dissection in penile cancer patients with nonpalpable or low-volume palpable inguinals disease.
