Journal ArticleDOI
Systemic immune-inflammation index predicts prognosis of patients after curative resection for hepatocellular carcinoma.
Bo Hu,Xin-Rong Yang,Yang Xu,Yun-Fan Sun,Chao Sun,Wei Guo,Xin Zhang,Wei-Min Wang,Shuang-Jian Qiu,Jian Zhou,Jia Fan +10 more
TL;DR: The novel systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) based on lymphocyte, neutrophil, and platelet counts was a powerful prognostic indicator of poor outcome in patients with HCC and is a promising tool for HCC treatment strategy decisions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Proteomics identifies new therapeutic targets of early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma
Ying Jiang,Aihua Sun,Yang Zhao,Yang Zhao,Wantao Ying,Hui-Chuan Sun,Xin-Rong Yang,Baocai Xing,Wei Sun,Liangliang Ren,Bo Hu,Li Chaoying,Li Zhang,Guangrong Qin,Menghuan Zhang,Ning Chen,Manli Zhang,Yin Huang,Zhou Jin'an,Yan Zhao,Mingwei Liu,Xiao-Dong Zhu,Yang Qiu,Yanjun Sun,Cheng Huang,Meng Yan,Mingchao Wang,Wei Liu,Fang Tian,Huali Xu,Jian Zhou,Zhenyu Wu,Tieliu Shi,Weimin Zhu,Jun Qin,Lu Xie,Jia Fan,Xiaohong Qian,Xiaohong Qian,Fuchu He +39 more
TL;DR: The proteomic stratification of early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma presented in this study provides insight into the tumour biology of this cancer, and suggests opportunities for personalized therapies that target it.
Journal ArticleDOI
STAT3-mediated upregulation of lncRNA HOXD-AS1 as a ceRNA facilitates liver cancer metastasis by regulating SOX4.
Hui Wang,Xisong Huo,Xin-Rong Yang,Jia He,Lijun Cheng,Na Wang,Xuan Deng,Haojie Jin,Ning Wang,Cun Wang,Fangyu Zhao,Jing-Yuan Fang,Ming Yao,Jia Fan,Wenxin Qin +14 more
TL;DR: HXD-AS1 is a prognostic marker for HCC patients and it may play a pro-metastatic role in hepatocarcinogenesis, and the results revealed that STAT3 could specifically interact with the promoter of HOXD -AS1 and activate HOXd-as1 transcription.
Journal ArticleDOI
Serum DKK1 as a protein biomarker for the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma: a large-scale, multicentre study
Qiujin Shen,Jia Fan,Xin-Rong Yang,Yexiong Tan,Weifeng Zhao,Yang Xu,Ning Wang,Yongdong Niu,Zheng Wu,Jian Zhou,Shuang-Jian Qiu,Ying-Hong Shi,Bin Yu,Ning Tang,Wei Chu,Min Wang,Jinhua Wu,Zhigang Zhang,Yang Shengli,Jianren Gu,Hongyang Wang,Hongyang Wang,Wenxin Qin +22 more
TL;DR: DKK1 could complement measurement of AFP in the diagnosis of HCC and improve identification of patients with AFP-negative H CC and distinguish HCC from non-malignant chronic liver diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Circulating stem cell–like epithelial cell adhesion molecule–positive tumor cells indicate poor prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma after curative resection†
Yun-Fan Sun,Yang Xu,Xin-Rong Yang,Wei Guo,Xin Zhang,Shuang-Jian Qiu,Ruo-Yu Shi,Bo Hu,Jian Zhou,Jia Fan +9 more
TL;DR: Stem cell–like phenotypes are observed in EpCAM+ CTCs, and a preoperative CTC7.5 of ≥2 is a novel predictor for tumor recurrence in HCC patients after surgery, especially in patient subgroups with AFP levels of ≤400 ng/mL or low tumor recurrent risk.
