16% efficiency all-polymer organic solar cells enabled by a finely tuned morphology via the design of ternary blend
Tao Liu,Tao Liu,Tong Yang,Ruijie Ma,Lingling Zhan,Zhenghui Luo,Guangye Zhang,Yuan Li,Ke Gao,Yiquan Xiao,Jianwei Yu,Xinhui Zou,Huiliang Sun,Huiliang Sun,Maojie Zhang,Top Archie Dela Peña,Zengshan Xing,Heng Liu,Xiaojun Li,Gang Li,Jianhua Huang,Chunhui Duan,Kam Sing Wong,Xinhui Lu,Xugang Guo,Fei Gao,Hongzheng Chen,Fei Huang,Yongfang Li,Yuliang Li,Yong Cao,Bo Tang,He Yan,He Yan +33 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a small amount of BN-T, a B←N-type polymer acceptor, was introduced into the PM6:PY-IT blend to enhance both exciton harvesting and charge transport.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fine-tuning of side-chain orientations on nonfullerene acceptors enables organic solar cells with 17.7% efficiency
Gaoda Chai,Yuan Chang,Jianquan Zhang,Xiaopeng Xu,Liyang Yu,Xinhui Zou,Xiaojun Li,Yuzhong Chen,Siwei Luo,Binbin Liu,Fujin Bai,Zhenghui Luo,Han Yu,Jiaen Liang,Tao Liu,Kam Sing Wong,Hang Zhou,Qiang Peng,He Yan,He Yan +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the influence of the orientation of side chains on the properties of non-fullerene acceptors and the performance of organic solar cells (OSCs) and showed that the optimal side-chain orientation can be achieved by the meta-positioned hexylphenyl group (of the m-BTP-PhC6 molecule), which introduces significant beneficial effects on optical absorption, intermolecular packing and phase separation of the NFAs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regio-Regular Polymer Acceptors Enabled by Determined Fluorination on End Groups for All-Polymer Solar Cells with 15.2 % Efficiency
Han Yu,Han Yu,Mingao Pan,Rui Sun,Indunil Agunawela,Jianquan Zhang,Yuhao Li,Zhenyu Qi,Han Han,Xinhui Zou,Wentao Zhou,Shangshang Chen,Joshua Yuk Lin Lai,Siwei Luo,Zhenghui Luo,Dahui Zhao,Xinhui Lu,Harald Ade,Fei Huang,Jie Min,Jie Min,He Yan,He Yan +22 more
TL;DR: In this paper, two regiospecific fluoro- and bromo- substituted end groups (IC-FBr-o and IC-Fbr-m) were synthesized and purified to construct two regio-regular polymer acceptors named PYF-T-o (T-m), which are then employed to construct all-polymer solar cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
