Journal ArticleDOI

Three-dimensional Ag2O/Bi5O7I p–n heterojunction photocatalyst harnessing UV–vis–NIR broad spectrum for photodegradation of organic pollutants

TL;DR: The improved photocatalytic activity is attributed to the formation of a p-n heterojunction between Ag2O and Bi5O7I, allowing the efficient utilization of solar energy and high separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced photocatalytic activity of Bi4Ti3O12 nanosheets by Fe3+-doping and the addition of Au nanoparticles: Photodegradation of Phenol and bisphenol A

TL;DR: In this paper, the photocatalytic activity of 2%Fe-doped Bi 4 Ti 3 O 12 (Au-2%Fe/BTO) nanosheets via a room-temperature hydrogen peroxide reduction method was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel synergy of Er3+/Fe3+ co-doped porous Bi5O7I microspheres with enhanced photocatalytic activity under visible-light irradiation

TL;DR: In this article, the photocatalytic activity of uniform porous Bi 5 O 7 I (BOI) microspheres was evaluated by the degradation of three typical colorless model pollutants, i.e., phenol, bisphenol A (BPA), and chloramphenicol (CAP), under visible light irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Plasmonic Ag–AgBr/Bi2O2CO3 Composite Photocatalyst with Enhanced Visible-Light Photocatalytic Activity

TL;DR: In this paper, a plasmonic Ag-AgBr/Bi2O2CO3 composite photocatalyst was prepared by a two-step synthesis method, which was characterized by X-ray diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel CeO2/Bi4Ti3O12 composite heterojunction structure with an enhanced photocatalytic activity for bisphenol A

TL;DR: In this article, a novel CeO2/Bi4Ti3O12 (C-BTO) composite photocatalysts of C-O2 nanoparticles was loaded on the exposed BTO sheets to form heterojunction structure and the scavenger tests results indicate that the photo-generated h+ would play an important role in the degradation of BPA.
