Five New Terpenes with Cytotoxic Activity from Pestalotiopsis sp.

TL;DR: In this paper, five new compounds called Pestalotis A-E (1-5), comprising three monoterpene-lactone compounds (1, 3), one tetrahydrobenzofuran derivative (4), and one sesquiterpene (5), were isolated from the EtOAc extract of Pestsalotiopsis sp.

Preparation method of medicinal plant extract being capable of reducing blood fat and application thereof in pharmacy and health food

TL;DR: In this article, the Pandanus tectorius extract is extracted by water and/or alcohol, and then condensing and drying the extract to obtain the medicinal plant extract provided by the invention.
Journal ArticleDOI

Amino acid ester-coupled caffeoylquinic acid derivatives as potential hypolipidemic agents: synthesis and biological evaluation

TL;DR: It is suggested that some amino acid ester-coupled derivatives exhibited varying degrees of lipid-lowering effects on oleic acid-elicited lipid accumulation in HepG2 liver cells, and these effects were related to their regulation of TG levels and mRNA levels of lipometabolic-modulating genes, and merit further investigation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polyhydroxy cucurbitane triterpenes from Hemsleya penxianensis tubers.

TL;DR: Ten new cucurbitane triterpenoids, hemsleyacins A–J (1–10), together with three known cucurbits F, scandenogenin D, and jinfushanencin F (13), were separated from ethanolic tuber extracts of Hemsleya penxianensis based on NMR, HRESIMS, and CD spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel geranylhydroquinone derived meroterpenoids from the fungus Clitocybe clavipes and their cytotoxic activity.

TL;DR: In this paper , three geranylhydroquinone derived meroterpenoids, named clavilactones J and K (1-2), and clavipol C (3), were isolated from the basidiomycete Clitocybe clavipes.
