A hierarchical CuO@NiCo layered double hydroxide core–shell nanoarray as an efficient electrocatalyst for the oxygen evolution reaction

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe the development of a hierarchical CuO@NiCo layered double hydroxide core-shell nanoarray on copper foil as a 3D oxygen evolution reaction (OER) electrocatalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent advances in perovskite oxides as electrode materials for supercapacitors

TL;DR: In this paper, the progress in perovskite oxides as electrode materials for supercapacitors is summarized, and several optimization strategies (i.e., modulating the stoichiometry of the anion or cation, A-site doping, B-Site doping, and constructing composites) are also discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanisms of U(VI) removal by biochar derived from Ficus microcarpa aerial root: A comparison between raw and modified biochar.

TL;DR: Ficus microcarpa aerial root (FMAR), a biowaste material, was used to adsorb U(VI) from aqueous solutions for the first time and indicates that KMnO4-modified FMAR biochar has a good potential to serve as an environment-friendly adsorbent for the removal of U( VI) from solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Macroscopic and molecular study of the sorption and co-sorption of graphene oxide and Eu(III) onto layered double hydroxides

TL;DR: In this article, the sorption and co-sorption of Eu(III) and GO onto Mg/Al layered double hydroxides (LDH) using batch and extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) studies were investigated.
