Hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome associated with consumption of Gynura segetum

TL;DR: For the first time, serum pyrrole-protein adducts were unequivocally detected in a PA-induced HSOS patient, and suchAdducts show a potential to be developed as a biomarker for the assessment of PA- induced HSOS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent developments in qualitative and quantitative analysis of phytochemical constituents and their metabolites using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.

TL;DR: This paper mainly focuses on screening and characterization of phenols (including flavonoids), alkaloids, terpenoids, steroids, coumarins, lignans, and miscellaneous compounds in respective herbs and biological samples, as well as traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions using tandem mass spectrometer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical profiling of Radix Paeoniae evaluated by ultra-performance liquid chromatography/photo-diode-array/quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry.

TL;DR: It could be concluded that UPLC-PDA-QTOFMS based chemical profiling is a powerful approach for the global quality evaluation of Radix Paeoniae as well as other herbal medicines.
Journal ArticleDOI

Decocting-induced chemical transformations and global quality of Du-Shen-Tang, the decoction of ginseng evaluated by UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS based chemical profiling approach.

TL;DR: An UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS based chemical profiling method was developed to evaluate decocting-induced chemical transformations in Du-Shen-Tang, the decoction of the root of Panax ginseng, suggesting that storage duration or other factors significantly influenced the quality consistency of not only the crude drug but also the decOction (Du-Shens-Tang) of white gINSeng.
Journal ArticleDOI

ESI‐QqTOF‐MS/MS and APCI‐IT‐MS/MS analysis of steroid saponins from the rhizomes of Dioscorea panthaica

TL;DR: Using high-resolution quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry along with an electrospray ionization source (ESI-QqTOF-MS), accurate molecular weights of 13 steroid saponins extracted from the rhizomes of Dioscorea panthaica were acquired and the corresponding molecular formulae obtained.
