A long-pulse high-confinement plasma regime in the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak
Jiangang Li,Houyang Guo,Houyang Guo,B.N. Wan,X. Z. Gong,Yunfeng Liang,Yunfeng Liang,Gang Xu,Kaifu Gan,Jiansheng Hu,Huiqian Wang,Liang Wang,Long Zeng,Yanchong Zhao,P. Denner,G.L. Jackson,A. Loarte,R. Maingi,R. Maingi,Jonathan Menard,M. Rack,X.L. Zou +21 more
TL;DR: The Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak in Hefei, China, achieved this record pulse length by first confining the plasma using lithium-treated vessel walls, and then maintaining it with a so-called lower hybrid current drive as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Correlated states in twisted double bilayer graphene
Cheng Shen,Yanbang Chu,QuanSheng Wu,Na Li,Shuopei Wang,Yanchong Zhao,Jian Tang,Jieying Liu,Jinpeng Tian,Kenji Watanabe,Takashi Taniguchi,Rong Yang,Zi Yang Meng,Zi Yang Meng,Dongxia Shi,Oleg V. Yazyev,Guangyu Zhang +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the displacement field-tunable electronic phases in twisted double bilayer graphene have been shown to be stable at half-filled conduction bands in an intermediate range of displacement fields.

Correlated states in twisted double bilayer graphene
Cheng Shen,Yanbang Chu,QuanSheng Wu,Na Li,Shuopei Wang,Yanchong Zhao,Jian Tang,Jieying Liu,Jinpeng Tian,Kenji Watanabe,Takashi Taniguchi,Rong Yang,Zi Yang Meng,Zi Yang Meng,Dongxia Shi,Oleg V. Yazyev,Guangyu Zhang +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have shown that the displacement-field tunability of bilayer graphene can be further tuned by a displacement field, providing an extra degree of freedom to control the flat band that appears when two bilayers are stacked on top of each other.
Journal ArticleDOI
Wafer-Scale Highly Oriented Monolayer MoS2 with Large Domain Sizes.
Qinqin Wang,Na Li,Jian Tang,Jianqi Zhu,Qinghua Zhang,Qi Jia,Ying Lu,Zheng Wei,Hua Yu,Yanchong Zhao,Yutuo Guo,Lin Gu,Gang Sun,Wei Yang,Rong Yang,Dongxia Shi,Guangyu Zhang +16 more
TL;DR: This work reports an epitaxy route towards 4-inch monolayer MoS2 wafers with highly oriented and large domains on sapphire that exhibit the best electronic quality ever reported, as evidenced from the spectroscopic and transport characterizations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lattice Dynamics, Phonon Chirality, and Spin–Phonon Coupling in 2D Itinerant Ferromagnet Fe3GeTe2
Luojun Du,Jian Tang,Yanchong Zhao,Xiaomei Li,Rong Yang,Xuerong Hu,Xueyin Bai,Xiao Wang,Kenji Watanabe,Takashi Taniguchi,Dongxia Shi,Guoqiang Yu,Xuedong Bai,Tawfique Hasan,Guangyu Zhang,Zhipei Sun +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the phonons and mutual interactions between spin and lattice degrees of freedom in few-layer Fe3GeTe2 were investigated, and three prominent Raman modes at room temperature were elucidated.
