Journal ArticleDOI
RNA m6A methylation regulates the ultraviolet-induced DNA damage response.
Yang Xiang,Benoit Laurent,Benoit Laurent,Chih-Hung Hsu,Chih-Hung Hsu,Sigrid Nachtergaele,Zhike Lu,Zhike Lu,Wanqiang Sheng,Wanqiang Sheng,Chuanyun Xu,Chuanyun Xu,Hao Chen,Hao Chen,Jian Ouyang,Siqing Wang,Siqing Wang,Siqing Wang,Dominic Ling,Dominic Ling,Pang-Hung Hsu,Lee Zou,Ashwini Jambhekar,Ashwini Jambhekar,Chuan He,Chuan He,Yang Shi,Yang Shi +27 more
TL;DR: It is reported that methylation at the 6 position of adenosine (m6A) in RNA is rapidly and transiently induced at DNA damage sites in response to ultraviolet irradiation, uncovering a novel function for RNA m6A modification in the ultraviolet-induced DNA damage response.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Specific LSD1/KDM1A Isoform Regulates Neuronal Differentiation through H3K9 Demethylation
Benoit Laurent,Lv Ruitu,Jernej Murn,Jernej Murn,Kristina Hempel,Ryan Ferrao,Yang Xiang,Yang Xiang,Shichong Liu,Benjamin A. Garcia,Hao Wu,Hao Wu,Hao Wu,Feizhen Wu,Hanno Steen,Yang Shi,Yang Shi +16 more
TL;DR: Insight is provided into mechanisms by which LSD1 mediates H3K9me demethylation and alternative splicing is highlighted as a means bywhich LSD1 acquires selective substrate specificities to differentially control specific gene expression programs in neurons.
Journal ArticleDOI
Corrigendum: RNA m 6 A methylation regulates the ultraviolet-induced DNA damage response.
Yang Xiang,Benoit Laurent,Chih-Hung Hsu,Sigrid Nachtergaele,Zhike Lu,Wanqiang Sheng,Chuanyun Xu,Hao Chen,Jian Ouyang,Siqing Wang,Dominic Ling,Pang-Hung Hsu,Lee Zou,Ashwini Jambhekar,Chuan He,Yang Shi +15 more
TL;DR: This corrects the article to show that the method used to derive the H2O2 “spatially aggregating force” is based on a two-step process, not a single step, like in the previous version of this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of the cold surge event in January 2021 on the power system of China
Changyi Liu,Boa Zhang Lu,Lu Jin,Hao Chen,Jie Xuan Wu,Yang Xiang,Zhi-Yuan Ma,Zi-Jian Zhao,Fang Yang,Qing Liu,Jiang-tao Li +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors quantitatively revealed the impacts on the balance between the demand and supply sides of the grid during 6-10 January 2021, a recorded strong cold surge took place in China, with over 800 observational stations reaching their historical extremes.
