Journal ArticleDOI

Multichannel vectorial holographic display and encryption.

TL;DR: A new technique is developed that integrates multiple polarization channels for various spatial phase profiles into a single hologram that completely avoids unwanted crosstalk, and significantly increase protection for optical data security.
Journal ArticleDOI

Teaching based on augmented reality for a technical creative design course

TL;DR: The results of a pilot study show that the proposed teaching scheme significantly improves learning motivation, student creativity, and the teaching of creative design.

Optical see-through free-form head-mounted display

TL;DR: A see-through free-form head-mounted display including a wedge-shaped prism-lens having freeform surfaces and low F-number is provided in this paper. But this display is not suitable for head mounted displays.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reducing the memory usage for effective computer-generated hologram calculation using compressed look-up table in full-color holographic display.

TL;DR: The C-LUT is described and built to reduce the memory usage and speed up the calculation of the computer-generated hologram (CGH) and it is expected that it could be used for realizing real-time and full-color 3D holographic display in the future.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel Approach for 3-D Reconstruction of Coronary Arteries From Two Uncalibrated Angiographic Images

TL;DR: An algorithm is developed for 3-D reconstruction of coronary arteries from two uncalibrated monoplane angiographic images on the basis of the pinhole camera model and existing optimization methods and an effective model is proposed for the calculation of contour points of the vascular surface.
