Wagner,Przemysław Woźniak +26 more
TL;DR: In this article, ground-based and Swift photometric and spectroscopic observations of the candidate tidal disruption event (TDE) ASASSN-14li, found at the center of PGC043234 (d'90 Mpc) by the All-Sky Automated Survey for SuperNovae (ASAS-SN).

TL;DR: The All-Sky Automated Survey for SuperNovae (ASAS-SN) as mentioned in this paper was the first large-scale survey of supernovae and their hosts, which was conducted in both hemispheres of the world.

Star-Disk Interactions in Multiband Photometric Monitoring of the Classical T Tauri Star GI Tau
Zhen Guo,Gregory J. Herczeg,Jessy Jose,Jian-Ning Fu,Poshih Chiang,K. N. Grankin,Raul Michel,Ram Kesh Yadav,Jinzhong Liu,Wen Ping Chen,Gang Li,Hui-Fang Xue,Hubiao Niu,Hubiao Niu,Annapurni Subramaniam,Saurabh Sharma,Nikom Prasert,N. Flores-Fajardo,N. Flores-Fajardo,A. Castro,A. Castro,Liliana Altamirano,Liliana Altamirano +22 more
TL;DR: The variability of young stellar objects is mostly driven by star-disk interactions as discussed by the authors, and the extinction events with typical depths of Delta V similar to 2.5 mag that last for days to months and often appear to occur stochastically.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic Reconnection, Helicity Dynamics, and Hyper-diffusion
TL;DR: Guo et al. as mentioned in this paper examined the influence of noise and Alfven wave turbulence on magnetic reconnection in a reduced magnetohydrodynamics model and derived the global reconnection rate in terms of the helicity density flux.
