01 Jan 1995TL;DR: This paper suggests using genetic algorithms as an alternate facility to find optimal parameters of pumping unit under given particular conditions to approximate the best solution using statistics on already found solutions for a set of conditions.
Abstract: Oil pumping equipment designers have to solve different types of optimization problems. Use of strong mathematical means is frequently very difficult, or, even impossible because of complexity of those problems. This paper suggests using genetic algorithms as an alternate facility to find optimal parameters of pumping unit under given particular conditions. Neural networks are employed to approximate the best solution using statistics on already found solutions for a set of conditions. Experimental results are discussed.

20 Dec 2018TL;DR: The findings from the literature review illustrate how these two main fields of science and information technologies can be converged together for the achievement of the goals in designing and developing of the intelligent agents with the high level of intelligence, also for the solution of optimization problems in distributed systems with the increasing complexity.
Abstract: *Correspondence: Nigar Ismayilova, Department of General and Applied Mathematics, HPC Advance Research Center, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, nigar.ismailova@asoiu. edu.az Abstract This paper examines the role of HPC systems in the solution of the most AI problems, on the other hand, assesses the impact of the application of AI methods on the resolution of different tasks in distributed systems. The findings from the literature review illustrate how these two main fields of science and information technologies can be converged together for the achievement of the goals in designing and developing of the intelligent agents with the high level of intelligence, also for the solution of optimization problems in distributed systems with the increasing complexity.

TL;DR: In this article, a three-stage spray extractor has been developed for the removal of butyl glycol, phenyl isopropanol, acetic acid, and acetylacetone using isopropyyl ether as an extractant.
Abstract: The technology of liquid extraction treatment of wastewaters of the paint and varnish production facility using a three-stage spray extractor has been developed for the removal of butylglycol, phenyl isopropanol, acetic acid, and acetylacetone using isopropyl ether as an extractant. A mathematical model of extraction is presented that takes into account the hydrodynamics of countercurrent liquid flows, the mass transfer and mass exchange of liquid phases for each component. The differential cell model is applied to determine optimal parameters of the process, calculate basic dimensions of the spray extractor, and propose a three-stage process flowsheet with the minimum consumption of extractant at the ratio 1: 15 in relation to wastewater.

TL;DR: In this article, a quasi-binary section of the SnS-PbS-Sb2S3 ternary system of the eutectic type was studied by physicochemical analysis methods (differential thermal, X-ray powder diffraction, and microstructural analyses and microhardness and density measurements).
Abstract: The Sn2Sb6S11–PbSnSb4S8 system was studied by physicochemical analysis methods (differential thermal, X-ray powder diffraction, and microstructural analyses and microhardness and density measurements). It was found that this system is a quasi-binary section of the SnS–PbS–Sb2S3 ternary system of the eutectic type. The coordinates of the eutectic are 42 mol % PbSnSb4S8 and 600 K. In the studied system, regions of solid solutions were detected, which extend for solid solutions based on Sn2Sb6S11 to 4 mol % PbSnSb4S8 (α) and for solid solutions based on PbSnSb4S8 to 6 mol % Sn2Sb6S11 (β).
