Abstract: One of the major problems hindering the systematic study of tachinid flies is that genera are often poorly defined, making it difficult to unambiguously assign species among closely related genera. Within the tribe Winthemiini, an example of this problem is represented by the unstable classification of the Afrotropical species most recently classified as Smidtia capensis (Schiner). This species has been previously assigned to four different genera on the basis of limited examination and evidence. Here, we evaluate the identity and phylogenetic affinities of this species and other members of the tribe Winthemiini using morphological and molecular phylogenetic analysis. We demonstrate that S. capensis actually belongs to the genus Winthemia Robineau-Desvoidy. We also find that Winthemia is paraphyletic with respect to two monotypic genera, Crypsina (type species Crypsina prima Brauer & Bergenstamm) and Hemiwinthemia (type species Hemiwinthemia calva Villeneuve). On the basis of morphological and genetic evidence, we propose to extend the generic limits of Winthemia to include W. londti, sp. nov. (South Africa), W. capensis (Schiner), comb. nov. (South Africa), W. prima (Brauer & Bergenstamm), comb. nov. (China, Japan, Australia) and W. calva (Villeneuve), comb. nov. (D.R. Congo), thus synonymising with Winthemia the generic names Crypsina, syn. nov. and Hemiwinthemia, syn. nov.

Abstract: El rapido desarrollo tecnologico que abraza a nuestra era se genera para cubrir necesidades que tienen los seres humanos en su vida cotidiana, es decir, la tecnologia avanza en pro de facilitar la sobrevivencia del ser humano y ayudarlo en sus labores diarias. Entre las prioridades del ser humano estan la familia, el hogar y el trabajo, siendo este ultimo el campo donde el ser humano quiere demostrar su valia y eficiencia y por tanto es el ambito donde la tecnologia trata de aportar mas herramientas. El trabajo de un restaurante puede ser desde el mas sencillo del mundo hasta el mas complicado y exigente segun la demanda existente; en este documento se presenta el plan de gestion para la creacion de una plataforma tecnologica que brinde herramientas de gestion y atencion al cliente eficientes y eficaces capaces de mejorar y facilitar las tareas de atencion, supervision, control y administracion en un establecimiento gastronomico. Para la implementacion de dicha plataforma se propone combinar metodologias de gestion tradicionales y agiles, obteniendo como resultado un plan de proyecto donde se estiman alcances, costes y duracion de las tareas de desarrollo, se definen los planes de gestion de calidad y de mitigacion de riesgos y se integra una etapa de gestion de desarrollo mediante la metodologia SCRUM que, a su vez, utilizara las estimaciones previas como metricas de evolucion para identificar posibles retrasos e inconvenientes con el trabajo realizado. Con la combinacion de metodologias, se ha intentado generar una solucion eficiente para la administracion del desarrollo de la plataforma tecnologica.

Abstract: The pion-nucleon-scattering amplitudes are calculated in tree approximation with the use of the extended linear sigma model (ELSM) as well as heavy-baryon chiral perturbation theory (HB{chi}PT), and the nonrelativistic forms of the ELSM results are compared with those of HB{chi}PT. We find that the amplitudes obtained in ELSM do not agree with those derived from the more fundamental effective approach, HB{chi}PT.

Abstract: El sector automotor en el Ecuador ha mantenido historicamente una participacion importante en la economia del pais debido a los ingresos que genera en todas las actividades economicas directas e indirectas que involucra. A partir de la industria automotriz se han impulsado a otras industrias como la siderurgica, metalurgica, metalmecanica, minera, petrolera, petroquimica, del plastico, vidrio, entre otras; industrias claves para la manufactura de vehiculos. El sector automotor integra a diferentes actores, como el caso de las empresas autopartistas, proveedoras de partes y piezas; por otra parte, las ensambladoras de vehiculos han sido quienes impongan los estandares productivos en la cadena de produccion. Actualmente, existe una ardua competencia entre las empresas por ser el primero en obtener la atencion del cliente. La calidad en el servicio es uno de los puntos principales que se deben cumplir dentro de cada una de las empresas. Una correcta gestion en la atencion al cliente es la mejor estrategia que se puede utilizar para lograr una empresa de exito y de esa manera poder sobrellevar periodos complicados como el que atraviesa el sector automotor del Ecuador en la actualidad.

Abstract: Created in 2010 during the international climate conference in Cancun, Mexico, the Mesoamerican alliance of peoples and forests (AMPB) lobbies for the recognition of territorial rights, which it frames as a fundamental safeguard in the global fight against climate change. On the one hand, it seeks to participate in global climate arenas, so as to capture the wide political and financial opportunities this context offers. On the other hand, it contests the “over-climatisation” of international debates, fearing that this would side-line the active historical role of local and indigenous communities in forest conservation and carbon storage. The paper examines the strategies mobilised by transnational grassroots networks ahead, during and beyond COP21 considered as a critical moment in global climate governance. One of the main results relates to the existence of a reversed climatisation process after the failed attempts to position territorial security issues in climate arenas.
