TL;DR: In this paper, an extensive literature review is performed considering the current status, impacts and various technical challenges due to high PV contribution in low voltage distribution system and the proposed study also provides the insights to the possible solutions for voltage rise problem.
Abstract: The share of power generated from solar photovoltaic (SPV) is increasing drastically worldwide to meet the ever increasing energy demands. The power generated from the solar PV is mainly connected to low voltage (LV) distribution systems. However, the power generated from solar PV is intermittent in nature as a results it creates a problem in grid stability and reliability. The technical impacts of high PV penetration into distribution systems are mainly on the current and voltage profiles, quality of power, power balancing, protection, losses in system, power factor, etc. To address aforesaid issues lot of research is required, therefore an extensive literature review is performed considering the current status, impacts and various technical challenges due to high PV contribution. In addition, the proposed study also provides the insights to the possible solutions for voltage rise problem due to high PV penetration in LV distribution system.

TL;DR: A hybrid model of Fuzzy AHP and FBuzzy TOPSIS is proposed in this paper for the selection of an appropriate 3PL in order to outsource logistics activities of perishable products.
Abstract: Managing value chain of perishable food items or pharmaceutical drugs is known as cold chain management. In India, approximately 30% fruits and vegetables get wasted due to lack of effective cold chain management. Logistic providers play a crucial role in making cold chains more effective. Based on literature review, ten criteria are selected for the third party logistics (3PL) selection process. Some of these criteria are transportation and warehousing cost, logistic infrastructure and warehousing facilities, customer service and reliability, network management, etc. This study illustrates a hybrid approach for selection of 3 PL for cold chain management under fuzzy environment. A hybrid model of Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS is proposed in this paper for the selection of an appropriate 3PL in order to outsource logistics activities of perishable products. Fuzzy AHP is used to rank different criteria for 3PL selection, then Fuzzy TOPSIS is used to select the best 3 PL based on performance. The results imply that logistic providers should focus on practices such as automation of processes and innovation in cold chain processes to become more competitive.

TL;DR: In this paper, an active power filter (APF) is used to compensate harmonics, reactive current and negative sequence fundamental frequency current of load current drawn by nonlinear loads, which makes APF versatile device for compensation of reactive power, harmonic currents and unbalance in source currents and their combinations, depending upon the limited rating of the voltage source inverter employed as an APF.
Abstract: Active power filters (APFs) are used to compensate harmonics, reactive current and negative sequence fundamental frequency current of load current drawn by nonlinear loads. The flexibility of selective compensation, if provided in the control scheme, makes APF versatile device for compensation of reactive power, harmonic currents and unbalance in source currents and their combinations, depending upon the limited rating of the voltage-source inverter employed as an APF. The proposed scheme decomposes the load current into positive and negative sequence fundamental frequency active components, reactive component and harmonic components in synchronous reference frames. The control scheme performs with priority-based scheme, which respects the limited rating of the APF. The simulated results in MATLAB environment and experimental results of the developed prototype of APF are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. Digital signal processor based implementation of control scheme is also detailed for selective compensation of power-quality problems with details of developed prototype.
