TL;DR: Overall students' perceptions were positive and they believed that the compact disc was a helpful tool in learning counseling skills.
Abstract: Multimedia compact discs have become an important part of counseling education. Many educators recognize the value of compact discs in training and methods of instruction. The purpose of this study was to develop an instructional compact disc and to survey counseling students' perceptions of the compact disc. Participants included 71 counseling graduate students from two universities in the southern part of the United States. Students viewed the compact disc and completed a survey to assess their perceptions of the compact disc. Overall students' perceptions were positive and they believed that the compact disc was a helpful tool in learning counseling skills.

TL;DR: This paper addresses the links issue in OTG by presenting an initial link computation algorithm and carrying out a time complexity analysis of this algorithm.
Abstract: Object type graphs (OTG) [5] are a new typing scheme for objects. It redefines object types by adding object component interdependencies (links) into object type representations. As such, it can prevent, by a more rigorous type-checking, program runtime errors that cannot be avoided under conventional object type systems. Unfortunately, links, as a key concept in the notion of OTG, have not been fully understood in the sense that it is unclear how to compute them. This paper addresses the links issue in the following way: (1) present an initial link computation algorithm; (2) illustrate how this algorithm works by providing some computation examples; (3) carry out a time complexity analysis of this algorithm.

TL;DR: Through deploying this measurement method on the PlanetLab platform, traffic data is collected and analyzed in the following aspects: data correctness, Poisson property, traffic self-similarity of individual peers, and trafficSelf-Similarity of the BT system.
Abstract: Our understanding for the traffic behaviors on P2P networks is, unfortunately, still incomplete in the sense that the current studies on traffic measurement primarily focus on the traffic in large, and insufficient efforts have been devoted to the investigation of the inter-peer traffic. Toward resolving this issue, we in this paper propose and implement a method for measuring the traffic between any individual peers. Through deploying this measurement method on the PlanetLab platform, traffic data are collected and analyzed in the following aspects: data correctness, Poisson property, traffic self-similarity of individual peers, and traffic self-similarity of the BT system. Results of these analyses suggest that the proposed method is feasible, effective, and can be extended to larger networks.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied three ring-theoretic problems for the class of local rings with identity, and solved them for the case of local Euler totient functions.
Abstract: Let ⊘ denote Euler’ totient function Consider the three equations k⊘(n) = n, k⊘(n) = n+1, and k⊘(n) = n-1. The first equation has been completely solved. The two latter equations are referred to as Lehmer' equations, and neither of these has been solved. We initiate the study of three ring-theoretic problems which generalize the preceding number-theoretic equations. Ultimately, we solve these three problems for the class of local rings with identity.
