TL;DR: In this article, a model of dynamics of an extruder elastic auger working body was developed and the design of an elastic screw working body is worked out, and the proposition of calculation technique for determining of the theoretical dependences that would analyse the laws of amplitude changing and oscillation phase of a system 'elastic augers working body' in the non-resonant case was provided.
Abstract: Abstract The model of dynamics of a system ‘extruder elastic auger working body’ is developed. The design of an extruder elastic screw working body is worked out. The article provides the proposition of calculation technique for determining of the theoretical dependences that would analyse the laws of amplitude changing and oscillation phase of a system ‘elastic auger working body’ in the non-resonant case. It also provides analytical dependences determining the characteristic features of different geometrical parameters of an extruder working body.

TL;DR: In this article, the applicability of 3D interferometry for different hierarchy levels of deformation was studied for heat-resistant steel 25Kh1M1F, and the results showed that the used techniques of experimental analysis are very efficient in understanding deformation and damage evolution in materials.
Abstract: Regularities of static and cyclic deformation, damage and fracture of heat-resistant steel 25Kh1M1F, based on the approaches of physical mesomechanics and 3D interferometry method, are presented in this paper. The applicability of these techniques for different hierarchy levels of deformation was studied. The investigation of scanning microscope photos was conducted for several dissipative structures, fragmentation of the material, localisation of macrodeformation and subsequent failure on macro- and mesolevel. It is shown that the used modern techniques of experimental analysis are very efficient in understanding deformation and damage evolution in materials. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5755/j01.ms.19.1.3821

TL;DR: In this article, an analytical and experimental analysis of the processes associated with the formation of structural systems, which includes adsorption, its main paths of formation, patterns of influence on the structure of the environment and its behavior at deformation influences is carried out.
Abstract: The analytical and experimental analysis of the processes associated with the formation of structural systems, which includes adsorption, its main paths of formation, patterns of influence on the structure of the environment and its behavior at deformation influences is carried out. The ways of choosing the optimal variant of the adsorption diffusion process for providing the maximum or minimum value of parameters (criterion) are proposed. The physical essence of the relation of the length of the sorbent layer with the time of its protective action (number of bound substance) is considered, which allows to practically characterize the work of the sorbent layer under dynamic conditions. It is noted that the determination of dynamic combined power flow influences during the process of mixing of components plays an important role in the structure formation of the suspension and promotes the construction of calculations for the construction of mixing equipment. The obtained data give an answer a series of questions about the theory of adsorption and diffusion (adsorption actions of van der Walsh forces on surfaces) and the ability to regulate the effect of combined power flows directly affect these process transformations (concentrations). For a illustration and understanding of the general execution of research, depending on the method of applying force, the degree of its previous dispersion and its physical and mechanical properties, a scheme of causal relationships between components and parameters that determine the change in the structure of the components in mixing process on a new discrete machine. The principle of discrete-momentum mixing of components in the weight condition and mechanical influence of the formable working body is considered. Based on the process of mixing the components in the working chamber of the machine, a mathematical model is proposed.

TL;DR: In this article, a pseudostereopair is used to determine the geometry of the start zone of the brittle separation crack in OSL steel and the stretch zone of railway axis steel.
Abstract: The method for determining the height of the surface microirregularities by means of a pseudostereopair, which can be used to determine the geometry of the start zone of the brittle separation crack, is completed and automated. The possibility of using the proposed method for investigating the stretch zone of compact specimens of the OSL steel is considered. The stretch zone of the railway axis steel is investigated using the proposed technique.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of thermal fatigue cracking and operational damage process on the coercive force and hardness of continuous caster (CCM) roll surfaces have been studied and the problem of 3D models cracks reconstruction in at a cracked surface of input 2D data is reviewed.
Abstract: Application of magnetic method of control allows effectively estimating the fatigue damage accumulation in the working layer of CCM roll. The effects of the thermal fatigue cracking and operational damage process on the coercive force and hardness have been studied. It is shown that damage of steel 25Kh1M1F appreciably affect the coercive force and hardness in surface layer of the roll. This paper also describes the analysis and identification of continuous caster (CCM) roll surfaces cracking by means of a digital photography. The problem of three-dimensional (3D) models cracks reconstruction in at a cracked surface of input 2D data is reviewed. Theoretical aspects and experimental results are presented.http://dx.doi.org/10.5755/j01.mech.17.3.499
