TL;DR: In this article, a wind turbine has a transport conduit that selectively provides communication between the interior of the nacelle and the rotor hub of the wind turbine, where the transport conduit is a telescoping structure.
Abstract: A wind turbine having a tower and a rotor hub that is supported by the tower. At least one blade extends from the rotor hub, and a nacelle is located proximate the rotor hub. The wind turbine also has a transport conduit that selectively provides communication between an interior of the nacelle and an interior of the rotor hub. The transport conduit may have a collapsed condition in which the transport conduit is located completely within the nacelle, and an extended condition in which the transport conduit partially extends into the interior of the rotor hub. In a specific embodiment, the transport conduit is a telescoping structure. A method for using the transport conduit includes accessing the interior of the nacelle to position an object therein and transporting the object to the interior of the rotor hub using the transport conduit.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method, computer program product, and wind power plant are disclosed for controlling power production of the wind power plants comprising a plurality of wind turbine generators, and the method comprises defining, based on received wind information, a wind wake zone comprising one or more first wind turbine generator of the plurality of generators.
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and wind power plant are disclosed for controlling power production of the wind power plant comprising a plurality of wind turbine generators. The method comprises defining, based on received wind information, a wind wake zone comprising one or more first wind turbine generators of the plurality of wind turbine generators. The method further comprises increasing a reactive power production of at least one of the one or more first wind turbine generators of the wind wake zone.

TL;DR: In this article, a variable speed wind turbine generator connected to a power grid and comprising means for controlling the generator speed is used to optimize the power delivered to the power grid, and the setting of the limits for the generator's speed is performed in dependency of the measured frequency of the grid.
Abstract: In a method of controlling a variable speed wind turbine generator connected to a power grid and comprising means for controlling the generator speed, said method comprises the steps of - measuring the frequency f of the power grid, - controlling the speed of the generator for optimizing the power delivered to the power grid, - setting limits for the generator speed. The setting of the limits for the generator speed is performed in dependency of the measured frequency of the power grid. This provides a dynamical set of limits providing improved possibilities of optimizing the power production.

TL;DR: A wind turbine rotor blade section comprising an airfoil profile between a leading edge and a trailing edge is described in this paper, where a portion of the trailing edge region is configured to buckle when the rotor blade is subjected to reverse edgewise loading.
Abstract: A wind turbine rotor blade section comprising an airfoil profile between a leading edge and a trailing edge, the rotor blade section comprising: a first structural member supporting the airfoil profile; the airfoil profile comprising a trailing edge region spaced from the first structural member in a chordwise direction; wherein a portion of the trailing edge region of the airfoil profile is configured to buckle, in use, when the rotor blade section is subjected to reverse edgewise loading.
