“On water” direct catalytic vinylogous Henry (nitroaldol) reactions of isatins for the efficient synthesis of isoxazole substituted 3-hydroxyindolin-2-ones
TL;DR: The first example of an "on water" direct catalytic vinylogous Henry addition of 3,5-dialkyl-4-nitroisoxazoles to isatins is described in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cinchona-derived thiourea catalyzed hydrophosphonylation of ketimines—an enantioselective synthesis of α-amino phosphonates
Akshay Kumar,Vivek Sharma,Jasneet Kaur,Vikas Kumar,Suhel Mahajan,Naveen Kumar,Swapandeep Singh Chimni +6 more
TL;DR: The three-component version of the reaction through a domino aza-Wittig/phospha-Mannich sequence has successfully been explored and good enantioselectivity is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular structure, vibrational spectroscopic analysis (IR \& Raman), HOMO-LUMO and NBO analysis of anti-cancer drug sunitinib using DFT method
Özlem Mıhçıokur,Talat Özpozan +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the solvent effect for Sunitinib in aqueous and DMSO phases has been performed by means of the self-consistent recognition reaction field (SCRF) method as implemented in the integral equation formalism polarized continuum model (IEFPCM).
Journal ArticleDOI
Transition-metal-free oxidative carboazidation of acrylamides via cascade C–N and C–C bond-forming reactions
TL;DR: A novel transition-metal-free oxidative carboazidation of acrylamides using inexpensive NaN3 and K2S2O8 was achieved, which provided an efficient method to prepare various N3-substituted oxindoles, and represented a novel strategy for C-N and C-C bond formation via a free-radical cascade process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sodium Iodide/Hydrogen Peroxide‐Mediated Oxidation/Lactonization for the Construction of Spirocyclic Oxindole‐Lactones
TL;DR: In this article, a metal-free procedure with mild reaction conditions, non-toxicity and easy handling, with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as a clean oxidant was proposed.
