TLDR
In this paper, it was shown that the complex deformation of the same data can be represented by a function of same form but with different values for the constants, which can be interpreted as the decay of the distortion with time of the removal of stress field.

Dynamics of glass-forming liquids. VIII. Dielectric signature of probe rotation and bulk dynamics in branched alkanes.

TL;DR: The dielectric relaxation of several glass forming branched alkanes with very low dielectrics with large relative rotational time scales and small effective dipole moments are indicative of hydrogen bonded clusters instead of individual molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Segmental relaxation and ion transport in polymer electrolyte films by dielectric spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the glass transition and dielectric relaxation processes of polyethylene oxide (PEO) based polymer salt complexes (PSCs) have been investigated using broadband Dielectric spectroscopy, in order to better understand the role of segmental relaxation dynamics in ion transport process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparing graphical and statistical methods for analysing dielectric dispersions of polymers represented in the complex plane

TL;DR: In this paper, the expression proposed by Havriliak and Negami to represent the dielectric relaxation data of polymers is combined with multi-response statistical methods to provide objective parameter estimates and measures of precision.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supercooled spin liquid state in the frustrated pyrochlore Dy2Ti2O7

TL;DR: High-precision, boundary-free magnetization transport techniques based upon toroidal geometries are introduced and an improved understanding of the time- and frequency-dependent magnetization dynamics of Dy2Ti2O7 is gained.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the temperature dependence of the nonexponentiality in glass-forming liquids

TL;DR: It is shown that temperature dependent nonexponential relaxation found in glass-forming liquids and amorphous polymers, often resulting in a decrease in the stretching exponent when decreasing temperature, can be suitably described assuming the combination of an intrinsic stretched response and the existence of temperature independent heterogeneities.

Dispersion and Absorption in Dielectrics I. Alternating Current Characteristics

TL;DR: In this paper, the locus of the dielectric constant in the complex plane was defined to be a circular arc with end points on the axis of reals and center below this axis.

A treatise on the mathematical theory of elasticity

TL;DR: Webb's work on elasticity as mentioned in this paper is the outcome of a suggestion made to me some years ago by Mr R. R. Webb that I should assist him in the preparation of a work on Elasticity.
