A costic acid guaianyl ester and other constituents of Podachaenium eminens
TLDR
In addition to known compounds, the aerial parts of Podachaenium eminens contained the guaianolide named eminenin A, the eudesmanolide eminenin B and podachaenin, a compound formed through esterification of an hydroxyguaianolate by costic acid as discussed by the authors.About:

Cytotoxic versus anti-inflammatory effects in HeLa, Jurkat T and human peripheral blood cells caused by guaianolide-type sesquiterpene lactones
Fatima Hilmi,Jürg Gertsch,Paul Bremner,Silvia Valovic,Michael Heinrich,Otto Sticher,Jörg Heilmann +6 more
TL;DR: The cytotoxic and anti-inflammatory effects in HeLa, Jurkat T and human peripheral blood mononuclear cells were examined and the NF-kappaB inhibition measured by EMSA, as well as the IL-6 luciferase assay did not reflect the differential modulation of pro-inflammatory genes measured with RT-rt-PCR.
