TLDR
In this article, a Fourier transform approach to the lineshapes of wide-line NMR spectra is proposed, which enables one to handle the general case of Voigt profile.

EPR and DNP Properties of Certain Novel Single Electron Contrast Agents Intended for Oximetric Imaging

TL;DR: Parameters of relevance to oximetry with Overhauser magnetic resonance imaging (OMRI) have been measured for three single electron contrast agents of the triphenylmethyl type, which are stable and water soluble and have good properties for oximetric with OMRI.
Journal ArticleDOI

Accuracy of oxygen measurements in T2 -(line width) EPR oximetry

TL;DR: It is shown that the accuracy of oxygen measurements in line width (T2) EPR oximetry is determined not only by the probe sensitivity, but also by the signal‐to‐noise ratio, inhomogeneous contribution to the line shape, and the spectral window.

In vivo detection of a pH-sensitive nitroxide in the rat stomach by low-field ESR-based techniques.

TL;DR: Findings demonstrate the suitability of LODESR and FC‐DNP for monitoring HMI and measuring pH in vivo and these techniques would be useful for monitoring disease and drug pharmacology in the living system.

Accurate Numerical Approximation to the Gauss–Lorentz Lineshape

TL;DR: The Gauss-Lorentz lineshape often observed in EPR or NMR is shown to be simply related to the complex error function, and formulas are presented for the derivatives of the line profile with respect to the parameters and the approximate computation of the overall linewidth.

The Dipolar Broadening of Magnetic Resonance Lines in Crystals

TL;DR: In this article, the second moment of the frequency deviation of the absorption line of the electron was calculated and the fourth moment was also computed to examine how good an approximation is the conventional assumption of a Gaussian shape.

Resonance radiation and excited atoms

TL;DR: A critical survey of the principles and limitations of methods for studying resonance radiation that is the reemission of absorbed radiation without change of wavelength and of the theoretical interpretation of the phenomenon is given in this paper.

Nuclear Spin Exchange in Solids: Tl 203 and Tl 205 Magnetic Resonance in Thallium and Thallic Oxide

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the line width of the nuclear magnetic resonance in thallium and thorium oxide greatly exceeds the dipolar width, and is a function of the abundance of the other isotope.

The Shape of Spectral Lines: Tables of the Voigt Profile

TL;DR: In this paper, a brief discussion is given of some methods of computing the Voigt profile, resulting when a spectral line is broadened simultaneously by Gaussian and Lorentz effects, and tables and curves are presented for representative values of the variables.
