Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous removal of SO2 and NO using M/NaClO2 complex absorbent
TL;DR: In this paper, a complex absorbent containing NaClO (M) and NClO 2 was used to investigate simultaneous removal of SO 2 and NO from flue gas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tuning the Reversible Binding of NO to Iron(II) Aminocarboxylate and Related Complexes in Aqueous Solution
Thorsten Schneppensieper,Stefan Finkler,Almut Czap,Rudi van Eldik,Martin Heus,Peter Nieuwenhuizen,Carel Theo Jozef Wreesmann,Wiebe Abma +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of 38 potential chelate ligands were selected for FeII and investigated with respect to their reactivity against nitric oxide and dioxygen.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nitric oxide removal by combined persulfate and ferrous–EDTA reaction systems
Yusuf G. Adewuyi,M. Arif Khan +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Nitric oxide (NO) removal from simulated flue gas is investigated using combined aqueous persulfate (Na2S2O8) and ferrous ethylenediaminetetraacetate (Fe2+−EDTA) systems.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nitric oxide removal from flue gas by combined persulfate and ferrous–EDTA solutions: Effects of persulfate and EDTA concentrations, temperature, pH and SO2
Yusuf G. Adewuyi,M. Arif Khan +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of persulfate (PS) and ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA) concentrations at different temperature and pH on the removal of NO were studied using combined Na2S2O8 and Fe2+-EDTA aqueous solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI
The absorption kinetics of NO in NaClO2/NaOH solutions.
TL;DR: In the study, the absorption rate of NO did not change with changing gas flow rates and was found to be proportional to P(2)NO,0 and [NaClO2]0(2), which is lower than at 50 degrees C.
