TLDR
In this paper, the authors found that Phanerochaete chrysosporium ME446 synthesized the growth substances IAA, GA3, ABA and zeatin as primary and secondary metabolites.
Abstract
Besides higher plants, there is evidence that fungi synthesize IAA, GA3, ABA and zeatin as well. According to our findings, Phanerochaete chrysosporium ME446 synthesized the growth substances IAA, GA3, ABA and zeatin as primary and secondary metabolites. Recovery of IAA, GA3, ABA and zeatin were respectively 55.5±10%, 74.6±8%, 51.6±10% and 56.63±6%. We have demonstrated that one can use the same extraction method to determine the different growth substances at the same time, thus this method will be primary and the only method that is applied in this research area.

Changes in phytohormone contents in chickpea seeds germinating under lead or zinc stress

TL;DR: The results showed that Pb and Zn significantly delayed and impeded the germination of chickpea seeds and the negative effect of Pb on germination was higher than that of Zn.

Influence of microbial diversity and plant growth hormones in compost and vermicompost from fermented tannery waste.

TL;DR: The results revealed that the maximum amount of plant hormones were available in the vermicompost products which may be due to the joint action of earthworm and microorganisms.

Role of abscisic acid (ABA) in activating antioxidant tolerance responses to desiccation stress in intertidal seaweed species

TL;DR: The participation of ABA in the regulation of DT in seaweeds is demonstrated, and it is suggested that regulatory mechanisms with ABA signaling could be of great importance for the adaptation of these organisms to dehydration.

Relationships between Leaf Water Status, Abscisic Acid Levels, and Stomatal Resistance in Maize and Sorghum

TL;DR: A new method for abscisic acid extraction and purification was developed to handle large numbers of small samples of leaf discs, andaired stomatal functioning after stress does not appear to be associated with high residual levels of absc isic acid in the leaf.

NaCl-and Gibberellic Acid-induced Changes in the Content of Auxin and the Activities of Cellulase and Pectin Lyase During Leaf Growth in Rice (Oryza sativa)

TL;DR: The interactive effect of NaCl salinity and GA 3 on the endogenous level of auxin, the most poorly studied hormone system under saline conditions, as well as the activity of two cell wall loosening enzymes, namely cellulose and pectin lyase, during the extension growth of rice leaves are studied.

TL;DR: Indole-3-acetic acid levels are diminished about 50% in 5- to 6-day-old epicotyls of etiolated pea seedlings treated with 10 to 36mul/l ethylene for 18 to 24 hr.
