Multi-index joint node selection protocol in UAV ad hoc network

TL;DR: In this paper , a multi-index joint node selection-GPSR protocol is proposed, which comprehensively considers the link holding time of adjacent nodes, the residual energy of adjacent neighbors, and the node degree to jointly select the next hop node, and proposes an AHP maximum entropy criterion weighting algorithm, which reasonably weights the node index value, adds the weighted index values to obtain the selection priority value, and selects the neighbor node whose priority value is the best under the weighting condition as the next-hop node for data forwarding.

QoS and QoE Aware Routing Protocol for Flying Ad-Hoc Surveillance Networks Using Fuzzy Inference Systems

TL;DR: A specific routing protocol is set out for FANET networks that is designed for the discovery of routes among UAV devices that can make communication more efficient among these devices.

Simulation-Based Performance Evaluation of AODV and OLSR Routing Protocols for Monitoring and SAR Operation Scenarios in FANET with Mini-Uavs

TL;DR: The article is aimed at applicability investigation and usage efficiency comparison of the routing protocols that are applied in flying ad hoc networks (FANETs) with a view to construct a network based on a set of multirotor mini-UAVs.

UAV-Assisted Cooperative Routing Scheme for Dense Vehicular Ad hoc Network

TL;DR: In this paper , a UAV-assisted cooperative routing scheme (UCRS) is proposed, where a flying ad hoc network (FANET) aids VANET and each node in UCRS creates an Allied Node Table (ANT) based on the vehicles in the forwarding zone.

A cyber-physical routing protocol exploiting trajectory dynamics for mission-oriented flying Ad Hoc networks

TL;DR: In this article , a novel cyber-physical routing protocol exploiting the particular mobility pattern of an MO-FANET is proposed based on cross-disciplinary integration, which makes full use of the mission-determined trajectory dynamics to construct the time sequence of rejoining and separating, as well as the adjacency matrix for each node.

Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) Routing

TL;DR: A logging instrument contains a pulsed neutron source and a pair of radiation detectors spaced along the length of the instrument to provide an indication of formation porosity which is substantially independent of the formation salinity.

Dynamic Source Routing in Ad Hoc Wireless Networks.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a protocol for routing in ad hoc networks that uses dynamic source routing, which adapts quickly to routing changes when host movement is frequent, yet requires little or no overhead during periods in which hosts move less frequently.

GPSR: greedy perimeter stateless routing for wireless networks

TL;DR: Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing is presented, a novel routing protocol for wireless datagram networks that uses the positions of routers and a packet's destination to make packet forwarding decisions and its scalability on densely deployed wireless networks is demonstrated.

Highly dynamic Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector routing (DSDV) for mobile computers

TL;DR: The modifications address some of the previous objections to the use of Bellman-Ford, related to the poor looping properties of such algorithms in the face of broken links and the resulting time dependent nature of the interconnection topology describing the links between the Mobile hosts.
