An Improved System for Quantitative Immunoassay Measurement in ImageQuant

TLDR
ImageQuant Analyzer's evolved hardware and software algorithm is described and improvements in TSH analyte from human sera samples were analyzed to validate improvements.
Abstract
ImageQuant Analyzer is an affordable, compact lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) based PoC diagnostic reader capable of fast quantitative evaluation of analyte concentration from a sample. In this paper, ImageQuant's evolved hardware and software algorithm is described. To validate improvements, TSH analyte from human sera samples were analyzed. Correlation plots between proposed measurements and a Gold Standard reference show superiority of our system (R = 0.96) in predicting TSH concentrations. Validation results for test trials within a single instrument and across instruments (intra-variability < 2 % and inter-variability < 5.5 %) also signify the merits of the newly improved algorithm.
