TLDR
In this paper , the expression of ARSD, a femalebiased gene on chromosome Xp22.3 that encodes arylsulfatase D, is significantly downregulated in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells and tissue samples, and that ectopic ARSD overexpression could inhibit proliferation and migration of BC cells.About:

PGCLCs of human 45,XO reveal pathogenetic pathways of neurocognitive and psychosocial disorders
Dantong Shang,Tian Lan,Yue Wang,Xuan-Li Li,Quanyi Liu,Hu Y. Dong,Bo Xu,Hanhua Cheng,Rongjia Zhou +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used a high-density of culture system of embryoids derived from iPSCs of a patient with Turner syndrome to ask how pathogenetic pathways are associated with onset of neurocognitive and psychosocial disorders.

Global Cancer Statistics 2020: GLOBOCAN Estimates of Incidence and Mortality Worldwide for 36 Cancers in 185 Countries.
Hyuna Sung,Jacques Ferlay,Rebecca L. Siegel,Mathieu Laversanne,Isabelle Soerjomataram,Ahmedin Jemal,Freddie Bray +6 more
TL;DR: The GLOBOCAN 2020 estimates of cancer incidence and mortality produced by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as mentioned in this paper show that female breast cancer has surpassed lung cancer as the most commonly diagnosed cancer, with an estimated 2.3 million new cases (11.7%), followed by lung cancer, colorectal (11 4.4%), liver (8.3%), stomach (7.7%) and female breast (6.9%), and cervical cancer (5.6%) cancers.

Global Cancer in Women: Burden and Trends
TL;DR: The burden of cancer among women could be substantially reduced in both HICs and LMICs through broad and equitable implementation of effective interventions, including tobacco control, HPV and HBV vaccination, and screening (breast, cervix, and colorectum).

Scavenger receptor-mediated adhesion of microglia to β-amyloid fibrils
J. El Khoury,Suzanne E. Hickman,Christian A. Thomas,Long Cao,Samuel C. Silverstein,John D. Loike +5 more
TL;DR: It is reported that class A scavenger receptors mediate adhesion of rodent microglia and human monocytes to β-amyloid fibril-coated surfaces leading to secretion of reactive oxygen species and cell immobilization.

Hsp70 and Hsp40 chaperones can inhibit self-assembly of polyglutamine proteins into amyloid-like fibrils
Paul J. Muchowski,Gregor Schaffar,Annie Sittler,Erich E. Wanker,Manajit Hayer-Hartl,F. Ulrich Hartl +5 more
TL;DR: The recently established potency of Hsp70 and Hsp40 to repress polyQ-induced neurodegeneration may be based on the ability of these chaperones to shield toxic forms of polyQ proteins and to direct them into nontoxic aggregates.

Apolipoprotein E: Structure and Function in Lipid Metabolism, Neurobiology, and Alzheimer’s Diseases
Yadong Huang,Robert W. Mahley +1 more
TL;DR: It is likely that apoE, with its multiple cellular origins and multiple structural and biophysical properties, is involved widely in processes of lipid metabolism and neurobiology, possibly encompassing a variety of disorders of neuronal repair, remodeling, and degeneration by interacting with different factors through various pathways.
