In this paper, the properties of layered structures of superconducting (and non-superconducting) materials are studied, with emphasis on the related boundary value problems, and theoretical interpretations are proposed for them.
Abstract
The properties of layered structures of superconducting (and non- superconducting) materials are studied, with emphasis on the related boundary- value problems. The experimental results are summarized, and theoretical interpretations are proposed for them. (T.F.H.)

From constant to non-degenerately vanishing magnetic fields in superconductivity

TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between two reference functions arising in the analysis of the Ginzburg-Landau functional was explored, and it was shown that the first function describes the distribution of superconductivity in a type II superconductor subjected to a constant magnetic field.

Long-range spin-singlet proximity effect for a Josephson system with a single-crystal ferromagnet due to its band-structure features

M. V. Avdeev, +1 more
- 09 Mar 2018 -
TL;DR: In this article, Wang et al. proposed a theoretical approach based on the features of band structure of a ferromagnet to explain the long-range proximity effect observed in the single-crystalline cobalt nanowire sandwiched between two tungsten superconducting electrodes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Strengthened proximity effect at grain boundaries to enhance inter-grain supercurrent in Ba1-xKxFe2As2 superconductors

TL;DR: In this article , the grain boundary transparency parameter defined as Jcinter/Jcintra rises monotonically with doping, and it is found that the FeAs segregation phase commonly existing at grain boundaries and the adjacent grains constitute superconductor-normal metal-superconductor Josephson junctions which play a key role in transporting supercurrent.

The transition temperature of a thin type II superconductor in contact with a magnetic metal

TL;DR: In this paper, the dependence of the superconducting transition temperature on the electronic mean free path in a thin alloy superconductor in contact with a ferromagnetic material was investigated.

Htsc grain boundary weak links employing high-quality icm sputtered ybco films

TL;DR: Bicrystal grain boundary junctions of YBCO have been fabricated by using the Inverted Cylindrical Magnetron (ICM) d.c. sputtering technique as discussed by the authors.
