TLDR
A simple open-loop inverse model which can efficiently and accurately obtain expected control current intensity is proposed and the modified Dahl model is proposed with fewer parameters and clear physical meanings.Abstract:
Magnetorheological (MR) fluid dampers are potential intelligent devices in vibration semi-active control application. But its model is difficult to get for its strong nonlinearity. In this works, the modified Dahl model is proposed with fewer parameters and clear physical meanings. The parameters are identified by crossover particle swarm optimization (PSO) and recursive least-square optimization method based on experiment data efficiently. A simple open-loop inverse model which can efficiently and accurately obtain expected control current intensity is proposed. The effectiveness and precision of proposed models are verified by simulation in wide conditions.read more
