TLDR
In this paper, a robust fuzzy sliding mode control (FSMC) scheme for the synchronization of two chaotic nonlinear gyros subject to uncertainties and external disturbances is presented, where the reaching law required to drive the error state trajectory of the master-slave system to the sliding surface is inferred by a set of fuzzy logic rules based upon the output of a sliding mode controller.

Fractional Fuzzy Adaptive Sliding-Mode Control of a 2-DOF Direct-Drive Robot Arm

TL;DR: A novel parameter adjustment scheme to improve the robustness of fuzzy sliding-mode control achieved by the use of an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) architecture utilizes fractional-order integration in the parameter tuning stage.

Robust synchronisation of chaotic systems with randomly occurring uncertainties via stochastic sampled-data control

TL;DR: This article investigates the robust synchronisation problem for uncertain nonlinear chaotic systems and proposes a discontinuous Lyapunov functional based on the extended Wirtinger inequality that guarantees the robust mean-square synchronisation of chaotic systems.

Dynamic fuzzy neural networks modeling and adaptive backstepping tracking control of uncertain chaotic systems

TL;DR: A simple and systematic approach is developed for modeling and neural adaptive backstepping control of an uncertain chaotic system, using only input-output data obtained from the underlying dynamical systems.

A chattering-free robust adaptive sliding mode controller for synchronization of two different chaotic systems with unknown uncertainties and external disturbances

TL;DR: A robust adaptive sliding mode controller (RASMC) is introduced to synchronize two different chaotic systems in the presence of unknown bounded uncertainties and external disturbances to eliminate the chattering.

A 3 - D Novel Conservative Chaotic System and its Generalized Projective Synchronization via Adaptive Control

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a five-term 3D novel conservative chaotic system with a quadratic nonlinearity and a quartic non-linearity, which has the important property that they are volume conserving.
