TLDR
It is shown that Gaussian states cannot be distilled by local Gaussian operations and classical communication, and positive (but not completely positive) Gaussian maps are defined.
Abstract
We characterize the class of all physical operations that transform Gaussian states to Gaussian states. We show that this class coincides with that of all operations that can be performed on Gaussian states using linear optical elements and homodyne measurements. For bipartite systems we characterize the processes that can be implemented by local operations and classical communication, as well as those that can be implemented using positive partial transpose preserving maps. As an application, we show that Gaussian states cannot be distilled by local Gaussian operations and classical communication. We also define and characterize positive (but not completely positive) Gaussian maps.

Entanglement evaluation of non-Gaussian states generated by photon subtraction from squeezed states

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered the problem of evaluating the entanglement of non-Gaussian mixed states generated by photon subtraction from entangled squeezed states, and they used two measures: the negativity and the logarithmic negativity.

Measuring Gaussian quantum information and correlations using the Renyi entropy of order 2

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the Rényi-2 entropy provides a natural measure of information for any multimode Gaussian state of quantum harmonic systems, operationally linked to the phase-space Shannon sampling entropy of the Wigner distribution of the state.

Multipartite entanglement in three-mode Gaussian states of continuous-variable systems: Quantification, sharing structure, and decoherence

TL;DR: Adesso and Illuminati as discussed by the authors showed that the residual contangle, emerging from the monogamy inequality, is an entanglement monotone under Gaussian local operations and classical communications and defines a measure of genuine tripartite entanglements.

Nonclassicality and decoherence of photon-subtracted squeezed states

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss nonclassical properties of single-photon subtracted squeezed vacuum states and study its decoherence under different models, and find that the state is especially robust under phase diffusion model though its phase properties are lost.

TL;DR: In this paper, the generalized coherent states were studied using an operator technique similar to one we have used in a previous paper, and an alternative derivation of the most general coherent state was provided.
