TLDR
It is shown that Gaussian states cannot be distilled by local Gaussian operations and classical communication, and positive (but not completely positive) Gaussian maps are defined.
Abstract
We characterize the class of all physical operations that transform Gaussian states to Gaussian states. We show that this class coincides with that of all operations that can be performed on Gaussian states using linear optical elements and homodyne measurements. For bipartite systems we characterize the processes that can be implemented by local operations and classical communication, as well as those that can be implemented using positive partial transpose preserving maps. As an application, we show that Gaussian states cannot be distilled by local Gaussian operations and classical communication. We also define and characterize positive (but not completely positive) Gaussian maps.

Nonclassicality and Decoherence of the Variable Arcsine State in a Thermal Environment

TL;DR: In this article, a variable arcsine state (VAS) is generated by using a variable beam splitter (BS), which means that the transmissivity (reflectivity) of the BS is adjustable continuously.

Quantum correlations in continuous variable mixed states : from discord to signatures

Callum Croal
TL;DR: In this paper, a quantum digital signature protocol based on homodyne measurement was proposed, which can be described entirely using the continuous variable formalism, with the advantage that it can be implemented over channels that are inappropriate for QKD.

Entropic nonclassicality and quantum non-Gaussianity tests via beam splitting.

TL;DR: This work proposes entropic nonclassicality criteria for quantum states of light that can be readily tested using homodyne detection with beam splitting operation and shows that this test is strictly stronger than the variance-based squeezing condition and can be extended to detect quantum non-Gaussianity in conjunction with phase randomization.

Roles of thermal noise and detector efficiency in distillation of continuous variable entanglement state

TL;DR: In this paper, the degradation of continuous variable entanglement distillation in the presence of thermal environment and non-unity detecting efficiency was investigated and the probability of success was also investigated.

TL;DR: In this paper, the generalized coherent states were studied using an operator technique similar to one we have used in a previous paper, and an alternative derivation of the most general coherent state was provided.
