A review of the performance and analysis of proton exchange membrane fuel cell membrane electrode assemblies

TL;DR: In this paper, a performance review of several membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) is presented, and different methods for preparing catalyst-coated membranes and gas diffusion electrodes (GDEs) are presented to show that the power density of the CCMs method is approximately 18% better than that obtained by using GDEs.

Fuel cells and their applications

TL;DR: The importance of fuel cells for energy saving is explained and evaluated and the extremely low pollution characteristics of dispersed fuel cells are emphasised in this article, where their wide-ranging applications in homes, small factories and power plants, and in some industries for the highly efficient conversion of waste and biomass materials, with the general effect of carbon dioxide reduction in all fossil-fuel-burning processes, are discussed.
