Unsteady gravity-driven slender rivulets of a power-law fluid

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered the gravity-driven flow of a thin slender rivulet of a non-Newtonian power-law fluid on a plane inclined at an angle α to the horizontal is considered.

Etude des processus de concentration et de dispersion d'une suspension de micro-algues : effet des interactions hydrodynamiques sur la dynamique de la suspension

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore the role of hydrodynamiques entre micro-algues in a dynamique de dispersion of an amas concentre of microalgues.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exact solutions describing an interaction of pulses with compact support in a nonlinear diffusive system

TL;DR: In this paper, a nonlinear equation with density dependent diffusion and reaction is proposed and an explicit pulse solution with compact support and an exact solution describing an interaction of pulses are given for the equation.
Journal ArticleDOI

On multidimensional generalized Cram\'er-Rao inequalities, uncertainty relations and characterizations of generalized $q$-Gaussian distributions

TL;DR: The present work shows how the generalized Cram\'er-Rao inequality for the estimation of a parameter can be extended to the mutidimensional case with general norms on $\mathbb{R}^{n}$, and to a wider context, and obtains a new multidimensional Cram‐er- Rao inequality which is saturated by generalized $q-Gaussian distributions.
