Failure of efficacy and adverse events associated with dose-intense diminazene diaceturate treatment of chronic Cytauxzoon felis infection in five cats

TL;DR: It is hypothesized that a dose-intensified regimen of diminazene could reduce or eliminate parasitemia from five domestic cats naturally infected with C felis and that Diminazene diaceturate cannot be recommended for elimination of the carrier state of C fel is infection.

Pharmacokinetics of diminazene diaceturate in healthy cats

TL;DR: The pharmacokinetic profile of diminazene diaceturate in cats was characterized and it was found that this drug, if found to be effective for the treatment of C. felis, would offer advantages both in practicality of dosing and in cost.

Antitrypanosomal and cytotoxic activities of selected medicinal plants and effect of Cordyline terminalis on trypanosomal nuclear and kinetoplast replication.

TL;DR: From the current study, it can be concluded that the aqueous extract of leaves of C. terminalis shows considerable antitrypanosomal activity and it could be a potential source of new antitry panosomal compounds.
