TLDR
In this paper, the manufacturing, processing, joining, finishing, and application of dispersion-strengthened aluminum alloys fro aluminum powder are discussed, and the mechanical and physical properties, structure, and relationship between mechanical properties and structure are given.
Abstract
The manufacture, processing, joining, finishing, and application of dispersion-strengthened aluminum alloys fro aluminum powder are discussed. The mechanical and physical properties, structure, and the relationship between mechanical properties and structure are given for the alloys. (N.W.R.)

Electrochemical and transmission electron microscopic characterization of metal oxide films

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the underlying barrier oxide film was either absent altogether or flawed in nature and the overlying porous film contained irregular pore distribution, branching at different angles.

Compressive deformation behaviour of nanocrystalline Al-5 at.% Ti alloys prepared by reactive ball milling in H2 and ultra high-pressure hot pressing

TL;DR: In this article, the UHP-HP method was applied to bulk nanocrystalline Al-5 at.% Ti alloys and their mechanical properties were investigated through compression tests at room temperature and high temperatures (300, 400 and 500°C).

Abrasion resistance of some S.A.P.-type alloys at room temperature

TL;DR: In this article, experimental Al-Al2O3 SAP-type alloys containing between 1.5 and 14% oxide were tested at room temperature for resistance to dry abrasion.

Identification of precipitate phases in a mechanically alloyed rapidly solidified Al-Fe-Ce alloy

TL;DR: In this paper, the stable and metastable precipitate phases which form during mechanical alloying of a rapidly solidified (RS) Al-8.4Fe-3.4Ce alloy have been unambiguously identified using X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and energy dispersive spectroscopy techniques.

Processing of mechanically alloyed aluminum powder: A metallographic study

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of processing variables on structural characteristics and properties of aluminum powder metallurgy parts was investigated, and it was shown that the silicon additive can achieve a duplex microstructure consisting of soft islands of a minor structural constituent embedded in a hard matrix.
