Optical phase conjugation by degenerate four-wave mixing in basic green 1 dye-doped gelatin film using He–Ne laser

TL;DR: Optical phase conjugation in gelatin film doped with basic green 1 has been measured using CW laser radiation ( λ = 632.8nm) generated by He-Ne laser of total power 35mW.

Synthesis, characterization and two-photon absorption based broadband optical limiting in diarylideneacetone derivative

TL;DR: In this article, a donor-πacceptor-π-donor type Bis-Chalcone, (1E,4E)-1,5-di-2-thienylpenta-1,4-dien-3-one (D2TDO) was synthesized by the Claisen-Schmidt reaction and structural characterization was done with the help of UV, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and Mass Spectroscopic techniques.

Degenerate four-wave mixing experiments in Methyl green dye-doped gelatin film

TL;DR: In this article, the phase-conjugate (PC) signal contributions from induced holographic transmission and reflection gratings were measured and the maximum PC beam reflectivity was observed to be 0.13% in these dye-doped gelatin films.

Nonlinear optical interactions in dye-doped solids

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of non-linear optical investigations on dye-doped solids using low-power CW lasers is presented, where specific nonlinear processes such as self-diffraction, optical phase conjugation, two-beam coupling and polarization gratings are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Temperature dependence of degenerate four wave mixing in azo dye doped polymer films

TL;DR: In this paper, the temperature dependence of the nonlinear optical response of disperse red 1 and methyl red doped in polystyrene film in the range 90-290 K was investigated. And the phase conjugate signal intensity resulting from degenerate four wave mixing was decreased by an order of magnitude at low temperature.

Generation of a phase-conjugate wave in methylred-doped PMMA and gelatin

TL;DR: The phase-conjugate wave due to the holographic process differs from that due to DFWM process in the respect that light induces long-lived photochemical changes of host matrix and guest dye in refractive index and/or absorption coefficient as mentioned in this paper.
