TLDR
In this paper, a longitudinal sample of insurance sales personnel's performance is used to demonstrate that systematic time trends are present at the individual level and that there are interindividual differences in these change patterns.Abstract:
The question of whether work performance criteria are dynamic has been addressed by applied psychologists for many years. Despite this attention, we have few definitive answers. This article provides both theoretical and methodological arguments for refocusing investigations into dynamic criteria toward the study of intraindividual change and interindividual differences in intraindividual change. A longitudinal sample of insurance sales personnel's performance is used to demonstrate that systematic time trends are present at the individual level and that there are interindividual differences in these change patternsread more

An Overview of the Logic and Rationale of Hierarchical Linear Models
TL;DR: This introductory paper discusses the logic and rationale of hierarchical linear models, presents a conceptual description of the estimation strategy, and provides an overview of a typical series of multi-level models that might be investigated.

The relationship between work experience and job performance: a conceptual and meta‐analytic review
TL;DR: A meta-analytic review of the existing literature on work experience using the dimensions in the framework as potential moderators of the experience-performance relationship was conducted by as discussed by the authors, which revealed an estimated population correlation of 27 between experience and performance after correcting for sampling error and criterion unreliability.

Efficacy-Performing Spirals: A Multilevel Perspective
TL;DR: In this article, the authors explore the possibility of efficacy-performance spirals in individuals, groups, and organizations, and consider compositional and cross-level effects by proposing factors that will moderate the relationship between spirals at different levels of analysis.

Growth Modeling Using Random Coefficient Models: Model Building, Testing, and Illustrations:
TL;DR: In this article, the authors illustrate how random coefficient modeling can be used to develop growth models for the analysis of longitudinal data using a model comparison framework and illustrates the value of using likelihood tests to contrast alternative models.

A Case for Procedural Justice Climate: Development and Test of a Multilevel Model
TL;DR: This paper found that work group perceptions of cohesion and supervisor visibility in demonstrating procedural justice were associated with the development of procedural justice climate, which was positively associated with helping behaviors after the effects of individual procedural justice perceptions were controlled for.

Hierarchical Grouping to Optimize an Objective Function
TL;DR: In this paper, a procedure for forming hierarchical groups of mutually exclusive subsets, each of which has members that are maximally similar with respect to specified characteristics, is suggested for use in large-scale (n > 100) studies when a precise optimal solution for a specified number of groups is not practical.

Self-efficacy mechanism in human agency
TL;DR: The centrality of the self-efficacy mechanism in human agency is discussed in this paper, where the influential role of perceived collective effi- cacy in social change is analyzed, as are the social con- ditions conducive to development of collective inefficacy.
