TLDR
In this paper, a linear diffusion model of oxygen ions in the crystal, which was theoretically derived, was used to calculate the diffusion constants at 25°C and 60°C, respectively.
Abstract
The compounds , which show high electrical conductivity, are electrochemically reduced in an aqueous alkaline solution to give rise to the oxygen deficient state . The electrochemical redox reactions are reversible in the range . The electrode potentials of in a solution have been measured as a function of δ. From these data and the measurements of potential change in the cathodic processes under constant current density, the oxygen ion diffusion constants have been calculated on the basis of a linear diffusion model of oxygen ions in the crystal, which was theoretically derived. The calculated diffusion constants at 25°C are for and, respectively. These values are very large as compared with ordinary oxides.

Pseudocapacitance: From Fundamental Understanding to High Power Energy Storage Materials

TL;DR: The purpose of this Review is to examine the fundamental development of the concept of pseudocapacitance and how it came to prominence in electrochemical energy storage as well as to describe new classes of materials whose electrochemicalEnergy storage behavior can be described as pseudOCapacitive.

Oxygen permeation through perovskite-type oxides

TL;DR: In this article, mixed conductive perovskite-type oxides are shown to be promising materials for oxygen permeation at elevated temperatures, showing that the permeability was mainly controlled by the amount of oxygen vacancies.

Water electrolysis on La(1-x)Sr(x)CoO(3-δ) perovskite electrocatalysts.

TL;DR: This work attempts to rationalize the high activities of La1−xSrxCoO3−δ through the electronic structure and participation of lattice oxygen in the mechanism of water electrolysis as revealed through ab initio modelling.

Electrocatalytic properties of transition metal oxides for oxygen evolution reaction

TL;DR: In this article, the mechanisms of the oxygen evolution reaction and the electrical properties of the oxides are simultaneously discussed, and it is suggested that some assumptions used in the deduction of the mechanism from the reaction parameters may not always correct, especially in the potential distribution in the interface between the electrode and the electrolyte.

Anion charge storage through oxygen intercalation in LaMnO3 perovskite pseudocapacitor electrodes

TL;DR: This work investigates the mechanism of oxygen-vacancy-mediated redox pseudocapacitance for a nanostructured lanthanum-based perovskite, LaMnO3, which is the first example of anion-based intercalation pseudocAPacitance as well as the first time oxygen interCalation has been exploited for fast energy storage.
