Journal ArticleDOI
Surface characteristics of antimony-doped tin oxide films
TL;DR: In this article, the surface composition of antimony-doped tin oxide films and its variation after electron bombardment and resistive heating were investigated and it was found that impurities such as carbon, potassium, sodium, calcium and chlorine segregate at the surface and that the carbon and chlorine are removed easily by electron bombardment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and electrochemical behaviour of some metal oxide films
Waheed A. Badawy,E.A. El-Taher +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the charge transfer reaction between the oxide film electrode and the redox electrolyte seems to occur via electron tunnelling through the barrier formed by the space charge layer of the semiconducting oxide.
Journal ArticleDOI
Review—Recent Advancements in the Utilization of Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) in Electroanalysis without Surface Modification
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical Properties of Nanocrystalline Cadmium Stannate Films
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of sol-gel nanocrystalline cadmium tin oxide (CTO) electrodes was investigated in 0.2 M potassium chloride buffered at pH 7.4 with phosphate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analytical aspects of absorption spectroelectrochemistry at a platinum electrode-I Study of metal ions.
Julian F. Tyson,T. S. West +1 more
TL;DR: An apparatus has been built with which the intensity of a light-beam passing at grazing incidence over a platinum electrode can be monitored and a mechanism for the production of the absorbing species in terms of increase in pH of the catholyte is proposed.
