TLDR
In this article, the pendant drop technique has been used to measure interfacial tension of hexane/water plus Triton X-100 interface and the results of the measurements are reported together with the interpretation of these data.
Abstract
Measurements of interfacial tension of hexane/water plus Triton X-100 interface have been made by the pendant drop technique. The results of the measurements are reported together with the interpretation of these data. The main result is that in the range of concentrations under examination the Freundlich isotherm describes the system with a great accuracy.

Molecular Dynamics Study of a Surfactant-Mediated Decane-Water Interface: Effect of Molecular Architecture of Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of molecular architecture of a surfactant, particularly the attachment position of benzene sulfonate on the hexadecane backbone, at the decane−water interface was investigated using atomistic MD simulations.

A diffusion-based approach to mixed adsorption kinetics

TL;DR: In this paper, a new theoretical approach has been developed which allows mixed kinetics of non-ionic surfactants to be studied in the unitary framework of an extended diffusion-controlled problem.

The Behavior of Sorbitan Surfactants at the Water-Oil Interface: Straight-Chained Hydrocarbons from Pentane to Dodecane as an Oil Phase.

TL;DR: The interfacial tension of four sorbitan surfactants was determined at the water-oil interface and increasing the hydrocarbon chain length of the oil phase increased gamma(cmc) and cmc values while pi(cmC) and A( cmc) were decreased.

The Influence of Temperature, Pressure, Salinity, and Surfactant Concentration on the Interfacial Tension of the N-Octane-Water System

TL;DR: In this paper, an elaborate experimental study was conducted for the determination of the interfacial tension (IFT) values for a n-octane/water system for a wide range of experimental conditions of temperatures, pressures, and salt concentrations that exist in a natural oil reservoir.

Fabrication, characterization and lipase digestibility of food-grade nanoemulsions

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of particle radius on the in-vitro digestion of nanoemulsions containing non-ionic surfactant stabilized lipid (corn oil) droplets was examined using simulated small intestine conditions.
