Experimental investigation of a single-yielding precast concrete beam–column connection with replaceable energy-dissipation connector
TL;DR: In this paper, a single-yielding precast concrete (SYPC) beam-column connection with a replaceable energy-dissipation connector (REDC) is proposed.

Demountable shear wall with rocking boundary columns for precast concrete buildings in high seismic regions
TL;DR: In this paper , a demountable shear wall with rocking columns (DWRC) system is proposed to increase the system's energy dissipation capacity, a series of steel dampers are placed at the base and vertical joints of the walls.

Precast concrete column base with replaceable energy dissipation connectors: Quasi‐static tests and numerical research
TL;DR: In this article , a precast concrete column base with replaceable energy dissipation connectors (REDCs) is proposed to transfer the bending moment of column base during frequent earthquakes and yield to dissipate most of the inputted seismic energy during major earthquakes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rehabilitation of defective connections between two precast concrete segments (experimental and analytical study)
TL;DR: In this article , an experimental and analytical study to rehabilitate defective connections between two precast concrete segments is presented. But the results indicate that neither casting NSC nor the HSC at the connection region has any effect on increasing the beam's capacity and cannot be used only as a rehabilitation technique in beam-to-beam connection.

Experimental investigation of a precast concrete connection with all-steel bamboo-shaped energy dissipaters
TL;DR: In this paper, a precast concrete beam-column connection with an additional all-steel bamboo-shaped energy dissipater is proposed, and the energy dissipation of the connection is provided from additional energy dissipaters, and self-centering connection is achieved by application of post-tensioned tendons.

Development of a novel high-performance all-steel fish-bone shaped buckling-restrained brace
TL;DR: Li et al. as discussed by the authors proposed a novel type of light-weighted all-steel dismountable BRB with fish-bone shaped core plate, which is termed FB-BRB.

Seismic Design of Friction-Damped Precast Concrete Frame Structures
Brian G. Morgen,Yahya C. Kurama +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the seismic design of unbonded post-tensioned precast concrete frame structures that use friction dampers for supplemental energy dissipation is described, assuming that the lateral strength requirements for the frame have been obtained from a linear elastic analysis of the structure under equivalent lateral forces.
