Responses of water environment to tidal flat reduction in Xiangshan Bay: Part II locally re-suspended sediment dynamics

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of the loss of the tidal flats on locally suspended sediment dynamics were investigated using a numerical model forced by tidal data and calibrated by observed tidal elevation and currents.

Wide range scaling laws for radiation driven shock speed, wall albedo and ablation parameters for high-Z materials

TL;DR: In this paper, a universal functional form is derived for estimating time dependent wall albedo for high-Z materials, namely Tungsten (W), Gold (Au), Lead (Pb), and Uranium (U).

Analytical benchmark for non-equilibrium radiation diffusion in finite size systems

TL;DR: In this article, an analytical solution to the non-equilibrium Marshak diffusion problem in a planar slab and spherical shell of finite thickness is presented using Laplace transform method, the radiation and material energy densities are obtained as functions of space and time.

Positive effect of a canal system and reservoir group on the spatial-temporal redistribution of water resources in a pinnate drainage pattern.

TL;DR: This study focused on the influence of decentralized water conservancy projects on the spatial and temporal distribution of water resources and provides ideas for solving the problem of water resource allocation in the studied basin.

Foundations of Radiation Hydrodynamics

TL;DR: In this paper, the great foundation-stones of radiating flows in astrophysics are exposed, and upon them are built the walls of methodology (some understandably incomplete). Concentration is on fundamentals but with only few applications.
