TLDR
In this paper, a new model named α-cost model under the Hurwicz criterion is presented with fuzzy demands, and the simplex algorithm, fuzzy simulations and a genetic algorithm are integrated to produce a hybrid intelligent algorithm.

Solving the integrated inventory supply chain problems using meta-heuristic methods / Seyed Mohsen Mousavi

TL;DR: A novel multi-objective multi-item seasonal inventory control model was developed for known-deterministic variable demands where shortages in combination of backorder and lost sale were considered and was shown to be a mixed-integer binary nonlinear programming type.

Fuzzy random cost–profit tradeoff location model for a vehicle inspection station with regional constraints

TL;DR: A hybrid algorithm integrating fuzzy random simulation and genetic algorithms is adopted to solve the proposed fuzzy random tradeoff issues of the vehicle inspection station location problem with regional constraints.

Application of Game Theory against Nature in the Assessment of Technical Solutions Used in River Regulation in the Context of Aquatic Plant Protection

TL;DR: In this paper, the suitability of game theory as a tool supporting decision-making in the design of regulatory works including ecological aspects, as well as an indication of a regulatory works model that would meet the expectations of water users while corresponding to environmentally friendly riverbed regulation was determined.

A particle swarm optimisation for fuzzy dynamic facility layout problem

TL;DR: A fuzzy particle swarm optimisation (FPSO) algorithm is proposed to solve the dynamic facility layout problem with fuzzy theory and a number of ranking criteria from the literature are implemented in order to test the performance of the developed algorithm.

Stochastic Hub and Spoke Networks

TL;DR: This thesis contributes to the research of hub and spoke networks by introducing new stochastic models and fast solution algorithms to help bridge the gap between theoretical solutions and designs that are useful in practice.

Optimum Locations of Switching Centers and the Absolute Centers and Medians of a Graph

TL;DR: It is shown that the optimum location of a switching center is always at a vertex of the communication network while the best location for the police station is not necessarily at an intersection.

Management Models and Industrial Applications of Linear Programming

TL;DR: In place of a survey or evaluation of industrial studies, two broad issues which are relevant to all such applications will be discussed, including the use of linear programming models as guides to data collection and analysis and prognosis of fruitful areas of additional research, especially those which appear to have been opened by industrial applications.

Expected value of fuzzy variable and fuzzy expected value models

TL;DR: A novel concept of expected values of fuzzy variables is presented, which is essentially a type of Choquet integral and coincides with that of random variables, and is designed to calculate the expected value of general fuzzy variable.
