Fuzzy facility location-allocation problem under the Hurwicz criterion

TLDR
In this paper, a new model named α-cost model under the Hurwicz criterion is presented with fuzzy demands, and the simplex algorithm, fuzzy simulations and a genetic algorithm are integrated to produce a hybrid intelligent algorithm.

Modeling Emergency Logistics Location-Allocation Problem with Uncertain Parameters

Hui Li, +1 more
- 17 Apr 2022 -
TL;DR: In this paper , an uncertain multiobjective model is developed within the framework of uncertainty theory to model the emergency facility location-allocation problem with uncertain parameters, which minimizes time penalty cost, distribution cost and carbon dioxide emissions.

Possibility measure, product possibility space and the notion of independence

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss possibility measure, product possibility space, and the notion of independence in their full details, and discuss the possibility measure as a metric for product possibility spaces.

An e-commerce facility location problem under uncertainty

Jiayu Shen
- 21 May 2019 -
TL;DR: It is proved two facility location models in e-commerce under uncertainty can be converted into equivalent models based on inverse uncertainty distribution method and a hybrid algorithm is proposed to solve these models.

Optimum Locations of Switching Centers and the Absolute Centers and Medians of a Graph

TL;DR: It is shown that the optimum location of a switching center is always at a vertex of the communication network while the best location for the police station is not necessarily at an intersection.

Management Models and Industrial Applications of Linear Programming

TL;DR: In place of a survey or evaluation of industrial studies, two broad issues which are relevant to all such applications will be discussed, including the use of linear programming models as guides to data collection and analysis and prognosis of fruitful areas of additional research, especially those which appear to have been opened by industrial applications.

Expected value of fuzzy variable and fuzzy expected value models

TL;DR: A novel concept of expected values of fuzzy variables is presented, which is essentially a type of Choquet integral and coincides with that of random variables, and is designed to calculate the expected value of general fuzzy variable.
