TLDR
Part 1.
Abstract
The Handbook of Modal Logic contains 20 articles, which collectively introduce contemporary modal logic, survey current research, and indicate the way in which the field is developing. The articles survey the field from a wide variety of perspectives: the underling theory is explored in depth, modern computational approaches are treated, and six major applications areas of modal logic (in Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, Game Theory, and Philosophy) are surveyed. The book contains both well-written expository articles, suitable for beginners approaching the subject for the first time, and advanced articles, which will help those already familiar with the field to deepen their expertise. Logical Dynamics of Information and Interaction

TL;DR: A new view of logic as a theory of information-driven agency and intelligent interaction between many agents is developed, unifying all these systems, and positioning them at the interface of logic, philosophy, computer science and game theory.

Annual Report for 2006

TL;DR: The work at the Excimer Laser Laboratory was mainly focused on the development and applications of a laser-driven plasma source emitting in the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) spectrum, on laser irradiation of textiles, on the design and test of optical systems, and on the know-how transfer of the ENEA-patented laser beam homogeniser as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Merging frameworks for interaction

TL;DR: This paper systematically and rigorously relates the DEL framework with the ETL framework via a new representation theorem characterizing the largest class of ETL models corresponding to DEL protocols in terms of notions of Perfect Recall, No Miracles, and Bisimulation Invariance.

Modal Logics of Space

TL;DR: The interest of Space remains intriguing – both for mathematical reasons, and given the amount of work in CS and AI on visual reasoning and image processing, which involves logic of spatial structures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Verifying autonomous systems

TL;DR: Exploring autonomous systems and the agents that control them is a step towards real-time decision-making in the rapidly changing environment.
