TLDR
A new system of high-temperature superconductors is reported, where A is Cu, Zn, Mg, Ag, Cd, Sn, or Pb, and the compounds are rhombohedral with transition temperatures ranging from ∼ 2.5K for the Cd compound to ∼ 13Kfor the Pb compound.Abstract:
A new system of high-temperature superconductors is reported. The compounds, Mo6 - xAxS6 where A is Cu, Zn, Mg, Ag, Cd, Sn, or Pb, are rhombohedral with a ≃6.5 angstroms and ∼90°. The transition temperatures range from ∼ 2.5°K for the Cd compound to ∼ 13°K for the Pb compound.read more

Chevrel phases: Superconducting and normal state properties
TL;DR: In this article, many unusual properties of the ternary molybdenum chalcogenides of the type MMo6X8 (M=Metal, X = Chalcogen) are reviewed and special emphasis is put on the superconducting properties like critical temperature, critical field and the problem of coexistence of magnetism and superconductivity.

MoS2 Nanostructures: Synthesis and Electrochemical Mg2+ Intercalation
Xiaolin Li,Yadong Li +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the electrochemical properties of annealed MoS2 samples were investigated and it was shown that Mg2+ ions showed better reversibly intercalation/deintercalation cycles in as-synthesized MoS 2 nanostructures than in bluk MoS1 samples.

Superconductivity in intercalated molybdenum disulfide.
R. B. Somoano,A. Rembaum +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Molybdenum disulfide has been intercalated with sodium and potassium, and the results showed a superconducting transition temperature of 1.3 K for sodium and 4.5 K for potassium.

Superconductivity of Double Chalcogenides: Lix Ti1.1S2.
TL;DR: Lithium titanium sulfides, Li x Ti 1.1 S 2 (0.1 x ≤ 0.3), become superconducting over the temperature range from 10° to 13°K.

Instabilities of High Temperature Superconductors
TL;DR: The transition temperature of both the cubic and tetragonal phases of several high-temperature beta-W superconductors are observed, and the instability of the cubic lattice appears to be characteristic of high-Temperaturesuperconductors.
