Influence of angular momentum on the mass distribution width of heavy ion induced fission: What is the frontier between fission and quasi-fission?
TLDR
In this paper, the mass distribution of the fission fragments has been measured and it has been found that their width strongly increases with angular momentum especially when the Fission barrier has vanished.About:

Characteristics of quasifission products within the dinuclear system model
TL;DR: In this article, a new procedure is developed for calculating the charge, mass, and kinetic energy distributions of quasifission products, which is treated within a transport model which describes a master equation for the evolution of the dinuclear system in charge and mass asymmetries and its decay along the internuclear distance.

TL;DR: In this article, the evaporation cascade of fissile excited compound systems is compared with the expectations of the statistical model, and experimental evidence is presented that the hindrance to fusion is strongly influenced by the nuclear structure of the reaction partners.

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of the orbital angular momentum on the mass distribution of fission fragments is studied, both on previously available data on heavy ion induced fission and in new specifically planned experiments: systems40Ar+165Ho and24Mg+181Ta at bombarding energies ranging from 180 up to 391 MeV and leading to the same fissioning nucleus205At with differentl distributions.

TL;DR: In this paper, mass-angle correlations and mass ratio distributions have been measured for fission fragment fission at near barrier energies and evidence of quasifission was observed for the two most mass-symmetric reactions.

Equilibrium configurations of rotating charged or gravitating liquid masses with surface tension. II
TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss in a unified manner configurations of idealized atomic nuclei, rotating liquid drops and rotating idealized astronomical masses with surface tension, and the existence of super-deformed nuclei.
