TLDR
In this paper, the den Broeder method was used to determine the interdiffusion coefficients in the β-solid solution of Ti-Zr alloys (from 830 to 1730 ǫ 2 /s) and compared with the impurity diffusion coefficients in pure metals from the literature.About:

Development of new metallic alloys for biomedical applications
TL;DR: The development of new metallic alloys for biomedical applications is described in this paper, which includes β-type titanium alloys with a self-tunable modulus, which has been proposed for the construction of removable implants.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of high Zr-containing Ti-based alloys with low Young's modulus for use in removable implants
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of Mo addition on the microstructures, Young's moduli, and tensile properties of Ti-30Zr-(0, 8 ¼% Mo) alloys was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microstructure and mechanical properties of hot-rolled ZrTiAlV alloys
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of ZrTiAlV alloys were investigated to develop Zr-based alloys with excellent mechanical properties and broaden the application of ZR metals. But the results showed that the microstructure of alloys went through a seriesof changes from the α ( α ′)-phase to part or all of the β -phase, thus affecting the mechanical properties as Zr increased.

Titanium Alloys for Biomedical Applications
Mitsuo Niinomi,Carl J. Boehlert +1 more
TL;DR: The low Young’s modulus of β-type titanium alloys makes them advantageous for use in medical implant devices, as they are effective in both preventing bone resorption and promoting good bone remodeling.

Measurement of interdiffusion and impurity diffusion coefficients in the bcc phase of the Ti–X (X = Cr, Hf, Mo, Nb, V, Zr) binary systems using diffusion multiples
Lilong Zhu,Qiaofu Zhang,Zhangqi Chen,Changdong Wei,Gemei Cai,Liang Jiang,Zhanpeng Jin,Ji-Cheng Zhao +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the diffusion behaviors of six Ti-X (X = Cr, Hf, Mo, Nb, V, Zr) binary systems were systematically investigated at temperatures from 800 to 1200°C using a set of five Ti-TiAl-Cr-Hf-Mo-Nb-V-Zr diffusion multiples.

DIFFUSION OF Ti44 AND V48 IN TITANIUM
TL;DR: In this article, the diffusion of Ti44 and V48 in the b.c. phase of iodide titanium has been studied over the temperature range 900-1550°C. The resulting Arrhenius-type plots show curvature with the apparent activation energies and frequency factors increasing with temperature.
