Aide au chiffrage de pièces usinées en aéronautique : proposition d'un modèle adaptatif basé sur la similarité et le modèle 3D enrichi
TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose an approach to estimate the exact number of couts of a given set of items in a set of objects using a similarite geometriques.

Generative Adversarial Networks for geometric surfaces prediction in injection molding
Pierre Nagorny,Thomas Lacombe,Hugues Favreliere,Maurice Pillet,Eric Pairel,Ronan Le Goff,Marlene Wali,Jerome Loureaux,Patrice Kiener +8 more
TL;DR: This paper uses recent success of Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) with the pix2pix network architecture to predict the final part geometry, using only hot parts thermographic images, measured right after production.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of factors affecting drying characteristics of pellets made from iron-bearing converter sludge
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of parameters on their drying properties were studied through orthogonal tests in a baking cup equipped with a cross flow adjusting system to simulate the two stage thermal condition in a travelling grate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of cropping method for perennial ratoon rice: Adaptation of SALIBU to triple-cropping in Vietnam.
TL;DR: No additional practice is effective for changing the triple-cropping to perennial ratoon cropping except harvesting near the ground, as the effect was positive under poor conditions but negative under standard conditions.

Comparison of Two Equations for Calculating Signal-to-Noise Ratio in Zero-Point-Proportional Robust Design
Jinghong Ying,Yueyi Zhang +1 more
TL;DR: This research enriches the theory of Taguchi SNR and serves as a reference for SNR equation selection in practice, and reveals that when the relationship between a response variable and a signal factor conforms to the zero-point proportional equation, the minimum-variance equation exhibits higher robustness than does the standard deviation-sensitivity ratio equation.

Creating Effective Online Customer Experiences
TL;DR: Across 16 experiments, this research investigates how 13 unique design elements shape four dimensions of the online customer experience and thus influence purchase and provides managers with clear strategic guidance on how to build effective web pages.
Journal ArticleDOI
A treatise on order in engineering design research
TL;DR: A framework of reasoning was constructed, including source, channel, and sink categories of knowledge and research of engineering design, respectively, which enables a grounded argumentation about the order ofengineering design research, as well as about the articulation of the engineering design knowledge.
